Great paddle for the price, allows me to play with excellent ball speed.
Extremely light, seemingly well made paddles. Due to having an autoimmune disease with severe joint destruction from arthritis the days of me being able to use spin playing ping-pong are gone. I always had a solid speed game, and these paddles help raise my game to a higher level. I am no professional mind you, but ping-pong is one of the very few aerobic exercises I can still due at all, let alone at a respectable level. To anyone seeking an ultra lightweight paddle that accentuates speed play, this is the paddle you're looking for.

bam
If you have a mini/kitchen table ping pong table these paddles are awesome. Playing on a mini table is less about spins and more about angles. These paddles are the key. The ball will speed up x5. Nice and durable too. Update: paddles have lasted a year and a half probably 500ish games . The paper is starting to delam because I have left them outside in humid air. I will order two more. These paddles are awesome durable and fasssssst.

Grandpa is so happy
Apparently, this is what people used to use, the sandpaper was an upgrade to just plain wood, haha! So when I bought normal paddles my grandpa asked where the sandpaper was, and thankfully I found these on amazon. He loved them! He said it was much nicer than the homemade plywood use used to use. lol

love the sound
Yes it is a sandpaper paddle. It generates very little to no spin. It is light weight, cheap, love the sound, and the multi-color handle earns it a 5-star. I bought two of these paddles. These paddles let you focus on the core of ping pong. Placing shots to create opportunities for put away shots. Get ready for long rallies and tried legs.

Great value, and fun!
These paddles were purchased to replace some old sandpaper paddles that were falling apart in every way imaginable. The upgrade was so huge. These new paddles have a great feel to them, they are sharp looking, easy to hold, and of course they make that satisfying noise when they hit a ball, like only a sandpaper paddle can. I also noticed that the grips on these are more solid and comfortable to hold than the older ones we had. Having a great time playing ping pong with my kids using these!

Paper unglued after one use
I didn’t expect much given how much they cost, but it wasn’t even a week before the sandpaper started delaminating. The stick glue I used to glue the paper down again worked better than whatever adhesive the manufacturer used.

I'm not a beginner and I love this paddle
I like the hard sandpaper surface which transmits more velocity information to my hand than a padded paddle. I also like the sound when hitting the ball. Mostly however I love the super light weight. I'm sure there's a good reason why this paddle is considered a beginner's paddle but I prefer it to the more expensive rubber paddles.

Sandpaper delaminates after1 year!
This was a very nice working and looking paddle but after a year of use the sandpaper curled up on its outer edges! The contact glue had lost its hold between the sandpaper and the plywood. Grand children disappointed
