Even the medium hard are hard because some words are not US English and some are names.

I bought this for my niece and she loves it. I highly recommend this book for anybody getting into codeword puzzles.

These puzzles are peppered with proper nouns, people's name and other words I have never heard of. Since the puzzles are small, any letter may not appear enough times to do the process of elimination I use for these types of puzzles. I will nomt buy from this company again.

Can't recommend, although I am familiar with British terminology. Dislike the format.

For the price, this was so-so. I liked that the easy level had all of the given letters pre-filled, but would’ve preferred if they weren’t on medium. At least part of the hard level should’ve had fewer given letters. The words on all levels are just plain odd, I’m not convinced that all of them are actual words/phrases, but I stopped looking them up. I have about 15 completed so far & I’ve found a few duplicated puzzles on different levels. I jump around between levels rather than working in sequential order, it was disappointing to find duplicates from one puzzle to the next.Overall, I would’ve preferred they spent more effort in the puzzle creation and printed it on cheaper quality paper. Will read reviews carefully before buying from this publisher again.

I really disliked this brand of codewords. So many nonsensical words (pozzy), and loaded with proper nouns and contractions. Just don't.

I was looking forward to this, having recently found codewords and enjoying them. But the 'words' used in these puzzles are awful! They are sometimes "made-up words", which makes solving the grids almost impossible. At first I thought it was just British-isms (although the book is printed in the US), but it goes far beyond that. I've only done 25 puzzles, and I'm already out of patience!

To my dismay I find that the same puzzles are in the three different levels of the puzzles. I found myself thinking,"I remember this puzzle." Looked back at finished puzzles and they are exact puzzles.. letters are in different numbers, but that's it. I feel cheated.
