Nanoblock New York Skyline Building Set

This is a fun model set, made of well crafted plastic blocks on a nano scale (about 1/4 the size of comparable LEGO sets). I love that the tiny size lets me build my own Manhattan scene. When done it will be small enough to keep intact as a shelf display. My only (minor) beef is that the Statue of Liberty is way too big for the scene. I do find using tweezers is very helpful for many of the details and internal elements.

This is a great set that has occupied my 8 year-old and me for hours. It’s that it is very challenging, requires a lot of attention to detail, and perseverance. We’ve also found that using tweezers makes some of the assembly and all of the mistake-fixing (we had lots of mistake-fixing) a lot easier.If you already love Legos and are ready for a small-scale challenge, this set is perfect.

I like a challenge, but not in this case. Yes, it's a challenge with micro lego which makes it satisfying, but the very frustrating part is a combination of the instructions and the colors of the pieces. There are three levels of grey pieces and two levels of a "blue" one being pastel blue and the other being mint blue. These are very hard to find the difference. If they were separated into different bags that would not be a problem, but they are mixed in the bags. There are 12-15 bags, but not a lot of logic went into deciding what went into those bags.Next is the instructions. On some pages, it lists the pieces to use with their colors, but even on the same page, you may get color description on some of the pieces, but not the others. When you have one of the gray version to use, which one is it? When you go from page to page, it just shows you what it will look like AFTER you use the new pieces, but it doesn't show you WHERE they go. It's very difficult to determine which pieces in the picture are from the previous page build and which are the new pieces. Believe me, if you purchase this and you have read my review you will understand.Other than those pretty big frustrations, this is an excellent build. Takes a long time, but satisfying when complete.It is 5 stars for the build and 2 stars for the instructions and colors, which makes it a 3.5, but I rounded down as I give more weight to the negatives than positives.Do NOT decide against purchasing this because of the negatives. It is a great set and well worth it.

Was very fun to build took about 6 hours over the course of a week to finish.

Good sized set if you want something to do a little bit every day for a few days. Looks nice on display.

Missing pieces. I was so excited to assemble and have several pieces missing. Some didn’t come at all. Some others, I ran short in while assembling. At first thought it was only a few so figured I could still continue assembling without hurting the aesthetics. Now it became a bunch...can’t build key areas/structures.

Produit solide et fiable comme d'habitude u

Le istruzioni non sono semplicissime, ma mio figlio di 10 anni è riuscito tranquillamente a costruirlo da solo. È un modello abbastanza "grande" e li tiene impegnati per diversi giorni. Pezzi molto piccoli
