Buyer beware... dimensions are deceiving... good otherwise.
Okay. First the good part... bowls appear to be of good quality. Rings are of reasonable construction and I observed no flaws in the 4 bowls I purchased. Price was excellent. Now, the rest of the story... See the attached photos. The bowls are 3.75 inches in diameter. This is smallish and would only work for smaller birds such as finches, canaries or possibly one parakeet. Based upon the published specifications on the web site we expected more like 5 inches. Also, the bowls hold 10 ounces ONLY if you fill them exactly to the brim, which is impractical for any pet use. With the water line 1/2 inch below the brim the bowl only holds 8 ounces. If the size is not any issue for you, these are good bowls. We have two Conures in the same cage and needed larger bowls so they could both use the bowl at the same time.

This is not what your actually purchasing
We got this item and it was not what we ordered what so ever, the photo and description showed that the back side had a dead bolt so you could screw it to the cage bars and it would fit, instead we got something that basically leans on the cage bars for parakeets for the bowls which is not what we needed OR what it showed in photos when I purchased it of what it was, I’m still trying to find a way to contact the seller but amazon is not much help with that right now. Very disappointed on the product and the seller for that matter. I would like my money back for this piece of junk, since one of the bowls broke almost instantly when we tried hanging it on the cage. I would give this item less then one star for a rating, and honestly I don’t take time out of my day to put ratings for reviews on items I have purchased.

Chipping chrome on rings, weird angle.
I bought these for three week old kittens. There was so much chrome chipping off the holder rings that I'm afraid to use them. Additionally, when you attach them to the cage, one of them is at about a 20 degree angle. It will need to be bent into shape. I fear the weld will break. They were a waste of my money. I'll be replacing them.

Perfect for small dog's crate
I own a small dog (~6/7 lbs) and this is perfect for his crate. (Doesn't take up too much room, his muzzle fits in fine, keeps his food tidy.) I've attached it to the door for easy feeding. When I first got the bowls I was worried about the quality—some of the mounting hardware looked rough. However, none of it is on the eating surfaces. I bought the two pack, so I can swap the bowl out for the other when it gets dirty and not immediately have to wash it. (I've only mounted one inside the cage for dry food, so not sure how the bowls hold up when it comes to water.)One thing I'll be keeping an eye on: The hardware doesn't come with a washer, so we'll have to see if it loosens over time. I'll update if it does.

Meh
These are ok, but I wish I had just gotten another set of the Midwest snap'y bowls because those are great. My biggest problem with these was the amount of black gunk that came off the screws when I took off the fasteners to install... It was like some form of spray on crap they use for the holders I assume? Whatever it was, it happened with both and took a while to get all off. I'm using these for bird cages, and birds will put anything in their mouths, so that did not make me happy. Another weird thing is that one of the bowls sits straight and the other hangs at a weird angle. And I checked and double checked that I had everything lined up and tightened properly. So it's the way the wire was fused on was uneven. The 10oz is a good size for birds but that's the only thing positive about them. Would not buy again.

Poor shipping
The two bowls were wedged inside each other so hard that I could not get them apart no matter what I did. I broke out the pliers and everything. I next tried a flathead and a hammer. Finally got them apart but on of the welded on rings broke in the process. Quite upsetting.

Poor manufacturing and sharp edges
I ordered a two-pack, both of the mounting rings that hold the bowl are bent 30 degrees upward instead of horizontal to the clip that attaches to the cage. One is so far off that, once mounted, you can't even get the bowl into the ring (and trust me, I tried all kinds of positioning to get this to work). Besides the ring being far from level, the ends of the metal ring are very sharp and I actually cut my finger a little while trying to secure the wing nut. The two plates that are used to clip to the cage with the wing nut and screw post are bent, which almost helps because the single screw allows the whole thing to spin, even when fully secured.I plan to ask a friend to grind off the sharp edges and see if he can bend the rings down to make them safe and functional. The bowls seem fine on their own though.

Have to remember these are 10 ounces so like a 1 cup measuring cup
Have to remember these are 10 ounces so like a 1 cup measuring cup. For some reason I failed to grasp that and they're smaller than I expected. That being said, they're for my "sick coop" so I only ever need them for 1 chicken at a time and they're plenty big for that.
