FotodioxPro Lens Hood/Sun Shade for Hasselblad Bay 50 B50, C 80mm f2.8 Standard Lens

Unfortunately this lens cap is out lasting my Hasselblad 500cm, it has done so well, I've had to fix and replace things on my camera from accidental drops and bumps but not this lens cap, it has protected my beautiful Zeiss lens several times when the camera fell, yes I use it a lot and yes I'm a bit clumsy, I'm trying to do street photography with a Hasselblad, pretty challenging, but sometimes I get incredible photos, it can be brutal and yet so rewarding.

I paid the higher prices here for the awesome return policy and Fotodiox's good reputation for its Pro line of accessories. This time is a big disappointment.The delivery was prompt as always. Inside the package was not the usual black Fotodiox box, but a silver Generic Widepan brand box with a Fotodiox bar code sticker. I understand every company gets products from China, but at least repackage it for the brand name. If I wanted a generic hood, I would have gone to flea-bay.The hood itself fits the lens but feels flimsy. The two Pro adapters from earlier purchase were made with metal and solid feeling plastic. Perhaps I am comparing apples to oranges here, but this hood feels weaker compare to my canon eos lens hood. The hood is not "Pro" quality in my opinion. Again, perhaps I am asking too much from a $15 hood.I wonder if it is just my luck to get a mistake package from amazon...

Fotodiox Pro lens shade is the way to go. Very happy with the quality and workmanship of an aftermarket company without the Hasselblad logo.other Chinese knock off brands are a waste of money. Feels good to purchase a hood shade without breaking your wallet.

fits a little loose, locks in place, but out of square. Usable and looks ok. Does what it should do (shades the lens)

Definatly not an original Hasselblad products but functions great even though it does not have the OEM look. Would be better with out "For Hasselblad" printed on it.

Come si può vedere dal prezzo di vendita non è un pezzo originale hasselblad. Detto ciò, è comunque un buon prodotto che richiama la linea dell'originale. Si adatta perfettamente al carl zeiss 80mm f 2,8 c t*.Servizio amazon come sempre ottimo.

Warum sollte man so viel Geld mehr ausgeben für ein Original...gut verarbeitet, passt perfekt und macht seinen Job. Gerne wieder!!!
