I mostly use it to make homemade salsa. Chops vegies very well. I even used it to chop celery, carrorts and onions for macaroni salad.

Pros: decent size for a smaller household. like the slot on the lid to drip in oil when making an emulsion like mayonnaise Chops and blends well by having an attachment it saves counter space, efficient use of a motor sitting there alreadyCons: made of plastic, would have preferred a glass bowl you have to hold it as it rotates when in use; can’t turn on the motor and do something elseWould have given it a 4.5 if I could only because of the plastic body

This is my favorite accessory I use every year during canning season. I use the chopper to finely chop, peppers, onions, cucumbers , zucchini and tomatoes for all my relishes and salsa recipes.

It melted while being washed in normal cycle in dishwasher. Next one will have to be washed by hand.

Got this as a replacement part...it was the exact same blender, but the design is a bit different and the attachment doesn't 'clip' firmly to the base. it's usable, but have to be careful that it doesn't come apart when you lift it off of the blender itself.

I had to replace the processor that came with the blender because it cracked. I guess 20yr plastic is no match for a fall from the cupboard. This fit perfect on the old base. love the black color, the original was white.

I bought this to replace the original food processor I got with my blender. It broke not long after I bought it. I hope this one is sturdier. I think it was kind of pricey for a replacement part.

I would like to have a more secure fit, because it is wobbly. But it works and beats having to have another appliance in my cabinet.
