Spigen Ultra Hybrid [Anti-Yellowing Technology] Designed for Pixel 7 Pro Case (2022) - Crystal Clear

this case lasted me around a year and a half before it plastic started to come off of the harder middle plastic, its a really good case though and i droped my phone from some pretty high places while using it and it was completely fine. The case did start to yellow pretty bad on the flexible pastic around the edges but the center bit did not at all. The case did add bulk to the phone but its kinda nessesary since the p7p has a bit of a weird build.

Spigen cases are always durable and affordable. The case is slightly discolored after 6 months but not as much as the previous ones I've bought. It did get a slight abrasion from falling on asphalt but the purpose is that my phone stayed protected. I can't say much for the wireless charging because I prefer the cord, but there's definitely enough space around the charging port for most cords to fit. All the cut outs are accurate as well. Overall I recommend you buy the case if you want to keep your phone safe.

Update Feb 2024: Has very much yellowed from my original review. Used for 1 year, two months (I had to go over a month without my pixel 7 pro as my original one had defects and had to wait for replacement) It is most definitely not anti-yellowing and it's been yellow for 6 months. Only finally reviewing as I have purchased a similar case for 1/3 the price and finally changed it out. Original review: I've ordered Spigen cases in the past for my Pixel XL, but actually switched to Caseology for my previous 4XL. Back to Spigen as they're the only one of the two that have clear cases! Although this case gathers a tonne a dust all along the edge. Not sure if it's because of the curve but it's the top and bottom too. I'm assuming it is because it's a bit more flexible and movement is easy (so dust can get under all four lip/edges too) compared to my last case. Overall, it works well and has great grip! It lasted many falls on my previous phones so I know it'll do the same here!

I got my brand-new Pixel 7 Pro in white and started looking for a clear case as the phone is gorgeous and I didn't want the case to hide it. I had Spigen cases in the past as well as cases from other brands, so I started browsing Amazon for clear cases as I'm not attached to a specific brand. I was a little bit concerned by the actual shape of the Pixel 7 Pro that requires the case design and fit to be very precise because the metal bar for the cameras in the back of the phone protudes significantly form the back of the phone and requires a perfect fit for the case. There are not too many clear cases for the Pixel 7 Pro yet, so I narrowed my search down to the Spigen case. The case arrived well packed and undamaged despite being in a small box. The back of the case is rigid with the sides being more flexible. It was easy to put the case on the phone and when installed, you can feel that it hugs the phone very closely and will not get out by itself. I forgot to install my SIM so I had to take the case off and while it took some effort, it was easy because the case sides have enough flexibility. I like the fact that the case is very slim and does not change the size of the phone much. The overall fit is perfect and the cutout for the cameras metal bar in the back is perfect and protects the metal bar with just an opening for the cameras themselves. This provides a small "bumper" over the camera bar that should protect the cameras in case of shocks in this area. Also protects the sides and part of the surface of the metal bar from scratches if you slide the phone over a rought surface. The front of the case is minimalist. The long side borders are at the same level as the screen and the short sides are slightly higher. I think that the idea is to allow easy "finger sliding" accross the screen without the case borders interfering. And the screen shock protection is provided by the short side's bumpers. I assume that the design decision was taken after some testing so hope it works. Future will tell. Usage of the volume and power buttons is not ampered by the case and they are easly operated and you feel them "click" very well. And the cutouts for the speakers, mike and USB plug are precise and exactly where they should be. As already mentioned, there is no cutout for the SIM trap so you need to install the SIM before to wrap the phone with the case. All together, so far, I'm happy with this case. Great fit, does not change the aspect of the phone and the protection features seems well designed. The price is also very similar to other cases.

This is my third Spigen clear case. Each of them discolored as shown in the picture in less than a year. Hence, we will see how the new one goes. Regardless of the discoloring, spigen case protected my P3XL for 4 years. I had one phone and one case. No cracked even I dropped my phone free fall almost everyday. There was some minor around the camera though. The new design of the edges of both P7P and Spigen case , expose the edges, hence higher chance of getting scratches. I will keep using this clear case until there's a better option in the market. Got to show the gold frame and hazel-ish grey color :D

Bought this case in November 2023, just now I'm finally changing it. It did turn yellow but that was approximately 9 months ago, and has protected my phone so good all this time. So I'm ready for another round with a new case. 100% recommended.

I haven't had the case for but a week, but I am fairly impressed so far. It is a very nice and sturdy case that fits the phone perfectly as far as I can tell. It went on very easily and fits tightly. It is very clear and generally resists fingerprints. The case material is not hard plastic and has a somewhat flexible and 'rubbery' feeling to it, but it is not 'clingy' and does not attract and hold dust, lint, or grime. It does, however, increase the grip of the phone so it doesn't slide around on table tops and whatnot. Plus, it helps increase the ease of grip when holding in your hand without exerting any extra effort which makes longer calls a little more comfortable to the hand and wrist when held to the ear. It still slides easily into the pants pocket and doesn't pull the pocket inside-out when pulling it out. It seems that the material feel will increase bounciness/protection too which would help if the phone was dropped. The external buttons require no more pressure to activate than without the case. So far, great case and well worth the money.

This is a good case for those wanting to see the phone they purchase. My only complaint, however, is that the back can sometimes get a little slippery depending on your hands. It's also a huge fingerprint magnet, but other than that it has held up from a fall or two so far. edit: After having this case since the Pixel 7 Pro launch in October I have noticed significant yellowing on the harder corners of the case. The back panel is see-through and still clear but the yellowness is hard not to notice against a white phone. The case itself is great - it lets you see the phone and provides good protection, but seeing as how the title of this product is "anti-yellowing technology" I'm going to have to give this one 2 stars for a half-true statement.

Love this case. Got the clear case for 7 Pro. Feels great in the hand. Protection around the camera lens is good. Has a very slight blue tint in strong light. Not a complaint it looks great. Solid plate on the back to keep that premium feel. Easy to fit, everything lines up. Definitely tell they have worked with Google on this case.

Spigen ultra hybrid is always my go to case for any phone and this one is no different. Fits the phone well. Slim enough while being protective and a great grip for slippery dry hands (unlike many other cases in the market). Highly recommend.

The case is a good fit. It feels solid when applied to the phone. The back is solid with TPU on the sides to enhance the grip and in-hand feel. The top and bottom are extended a little on the screen's side to provide a bit of protection to the screen while the phone is resting on the front side. All the cut-outs for the camera, mic, speakers and charging port are precise. The buttons are completely covered but remain tactile. The camera bump is still present since the case is not very thick and bulky, but the case covers all the corners of the camera strip to prevent accidental scratches. Can not say anything about the yellowness that eventually plagues all clear cases. Have to use it for a few months before any judgement. But overall, this is a great case. It might seem a bit overpriced, but it seems worth it.
