The Helmet came well packaged with minor fitting process. Good instructions for assembly. Helmet fit comfortably but would suggest that hearing aids be removed prior to running weed whacker or chain saw. Eye and hearing protection is more than adequate, and the helmet is comfortable to wear. As time goes by the plastic face will need to be replaced due to wear and scratches but that is to be inspected. When weed whacking best protection is the use of the plastic face shield. I tried using the screen but dust kicked up by the weed whacker will bother the eyes. All in all I am happy with the item.

Works Great! Easy to use, perfect size and it is durable which is exactly what you want! You cant be too careful when using a chainsaw. Be Safe! I highly recommend this helmet.

Very high quality!! I really like that this helmet comes with a metal mesh face screen and a clear lens that swap out super easy. To swap it out you just have to turn 3 knobs a quarter turn, remove and replace. It comes unassembled but it's fast and easy to put together and ready for work. It seems very durable, I haven't used it much but I believe it will hold up to lots of hard use for many years. I use it when cutting wood and weedeating brush but I also use it with the clear lens when I grind or cut metal. The ear muffs work great and are very comfortable for hours of use. The head adjustment turns easily, holds the adjustment and doesn't pull out your hair. I highly recommend this helmet and should have bought it a long time ago

I was surprised at the cost of this forestry helmet after researching similar helmets. This one is by far the most economical I found for the cost. I do not do enough tree work to warrant hundreds of dollars on something like this. I bought it mainly for the mesh face shield. Here is my take on it so far: 1. The ear muffs are not all that great. They are adjustable. They do block the loud sounds from the chainsaw, however, they are not the quality one needs for full ear protection while using power equipment. 4-Stars for this alone. 2. The mesh shield worked out perfectly. I wear prescription glasses and it does a great job of protecting the face. It also keeps saw dust from hitting your collar and going down the front of your shirt. 3. It has a manually adjustable band on the inside of the helmet to make it fit your head perfectly. 4. The helmet is adequate when small limbs or smaller branches happen to strike it when falling. 5. In extreme cold weather, your breathing will cause ice to form on the mesh face guard with heavy breathing. It is not a deal breaker and melts off quickly when in a warmer environment. This is not a professional forestry helmet. If you are looking for something to protect you for home projects and not break the bank, then get this. If you need something more professional, get ready to spend some money.

Do you really need such an industrial helmet. Yes. This covers everything. Would you like to have your eye put out. Got the shield. How about your hearing. It’s covered. Your head? I realized how much I needed it when clearing fallen trees and branches from a huge ice storm. What makes it so good is you reach for one thing. Not 3 things. It is serious protection. Beats going to the ER.

This helmet is good quality for the money. It is adjustable as stated by simply turning the knob at the back of the head band to fit different size heads. I have a small head and with the adjustment it fit perfectly and sits very comfortably on my head. The instructions were easy to follow to attach all the parts of the helmet. The helmet is hard plastic with dual face shields and ear protectors. The bright orange color makes it easy to spot for safety. Very satisfied with the purchase.

For a homeowner, this is all I need. Fits well, reasonably durable, and the sound attenuation is great. Definitely feel safe when wearing it.

My husband has to have that for work, and it does the right job. This is a great item to buy.
