A really great tool, especially for the low cost!
I have had several wet polishers, and this is by far, the best I have ever used. I use wet polishers to shape and polish stone, as a hobby. I ordered it Saturday night and it was delivered the following Monday morning. I quickly assembled the handle and splash guard, and used it on a large piece of hard nephrite jade (a hardness level of 7 on the MOHs scale of 10,...diamond is a level 10) I used each of the included pads (50, 100, 200, 800, 1500, and 300 grits) in about 2 hours. By then, the jade was ground flat and polished to a nice sheen, with no problems at all. The water nozzle worked well, but did leak slightly where the hose connects to the unit. A new rubber hose gasket will most likely correct it. That was the only issue found, and since I use the tool outside, it is really no problem for me.The polisher is very substantial and well made. The handle greatly helps you control the polisher, and allowed me to turn it so the edge of the pad could get into 1/8” grooves I made in the jade. While I have had the polisher for less than a day, the smooth, consistent way the motor operated, the versatility of the tool, and by simply observing the quality during its use, I was compelled to rate it a 5 star for longevity, especially when compared to previous wet polishers.

Exceeded my expectations and performed great on concrete counter top!
This polisher arrived fast and was more hefty/quality feeling than I was expecting. I put the tool to work immediately. I can speak for the instruction manual because I didn't read it, removing the two side screws and sliding the handle on top and re inserting the screws (with provided Allen wrench) needs no instruction. Placing the guard on was almost as easy, the only thing I did was loosen the hose clamp all the way so I could wrap it between the tool and water line. I could have removed the water line connection but my method seemed easiest with my appropriate sized metric nut driver. I started with a separately purchased diamond cup wheel and bull-nose profile wheel and the tool performed great on my concrete counter top. I then switched to the polishing pads that performed great, the 50 and even the 100 cut through the creme on my concrete exposing the aggregate fairly quickly with minimal pressure. The only thing that could have improved my counter would have to do with my work and not the tool, It polished the surface so well that some voids and pinhole were visible. If I were to do it again I would have cut my counter down with the lower grits and re-applied a slurry mix to fill these areas. No leaks in my water hose connection and the tool worked well with minimum water flow. Rubber boots and apron or chest waders are a must unless you want to be wet! push the switch forward and down and it locks in place, press down on the backside and it will disengage. Speed is controlled via wheel setting directly below where the electric cord enters the grinder, you need to turn the grinder on when it is not in contact with your surface and let it get up to speed. The only negative side of this tool is the slight electric shock I get when things get pretty wet and I touch the metal gearbox.

Worked really well
Used this with the DAMO 4inch turbo wheel to remove cutback (linoleum glue). Took up 35sq ft in about 2 hrs.Total time from setup to cleanup was 6 hrs (spread over 2 days).Adjust the water to just dribble out, set it low to mid speed and don't push hard. Just slowly move itwithin a few sq ft area slightly angled. This worked really well.It could have been a 5 star except.- The water valve is kind of flimsy and being underneath the unit you tend to knock it once in awhile. Not only does this change your water flow but I'm concerned its going to eventually break off. It wouldbe much better having the valve on top.- The black plastic shield does not have the quick release shown in the picture. Instead they use anautomotive hose clamp. It works but its not as quick putting it on.- Unlike in the picture the handle attaches at a 45 degree angle. This actually worked out better for mebut the picture makes it look like its adjustable. Its not.- The black plastic shield was warped, I was still able to use it but it does make you wonder what elsemight be wrong with the unit.I actually was wondering if I'd gotten a knockoff in place of the real thing. After using it I haveno such worries. The motor in this thing is more than strong enough for what I need. It also comeswith a side handle for when you have to get up next to a wall.I'll try to post 3 pictures (Before, Midway and After) to show the results.

Great for polishing granite tile edges
I bought this wet polisher with diamond pads to polish the edges of granite tiles that I am laying on a kitchen island. The cut edges are very dull and have some blade marks coming off the tile saw. I wasn't sure that I could do a good job with it, but I took the chance. Adjusting the water flow to a trickle was easy. A trickle is enough water to do the job and not get too wet. Working out doors, I lined up the tiles side by side on a flat piece of plywood, with the back edge of the tiles pushed up to a metal straight edge clamped to the plywood. This way the tiles didn't move when grinding the front edges. Be careful that the tiles are at the same height; a warped plywood surface won't work. In this way I could round and polish the tiles as if they were installed on the counter but work outside. I started with the 50 grit but found that I actually added scratches, so next time I will start with 100. Work through all the pads, finishing with 3000. It takes only a few passes with each grit and you don't need a lot of pressure. You can round the edges, but this does take a bit of practice to make an even surface. I was very surprised how quickly you can form a slightly rounded edge. When finished the edges are just as shiny as the top surface. My island is 87" x 39"; I'm not finished yet but I don't think I will come close to wearing out the pads.I haven't tried the pads dry yet, but I expect I will once the tiles are installed in the kitchen and some touch up is required.I am happy to have spent the extra amount for a wet polisher!

Very Happy
I'm happy with my purchase. Since I live in Canada, there were border fees (about 50$) so I called customer support and they had no problem paying for it. I received it within a few days and everything works great.
