FLEORAlnico 5 Single Coil Soap Bar P90 Neck & Bridge Pickup Set - Black

I grabbed a set of these after seeing some reviews of FLEOR's Humbuckers on YouTube. I installed the pick up into a Squier Telecaster Bullet that I got form Musician's Friend super cheap. The stock pickups were great sounding but I wanted to make the guitar a little more Vintage 'ish and versatile with a Nice Fat and Round Neck pup to contrast the treble snarl of the Bridge pup. This was exactly what the Tone Doctor ordered. I am Very Happy.... and for the price I have an extra pup waiting for the next project. What a great deal these are and they sound clean and chimey not muddy or muffled. If you are on the fence pull the trigger! Seriously.

The media could not be loaded.  Built a custom pickup circuit that allows me to switch between 2 different orange drops to get 2 tone options out of one pickup. This is playing through my test guitar rig. This build is actually going into an archtop eventually. First sample is a .033 mF cap and the second is a 0.047 mF cap. Also worth mentioning that I rimmed down the pole pieces on the back to help fit the guitar cavity it is going in. This does't affect tone or anything, just an fyi.

Fleet pickups hands down is probably the best bargain pickups on the market. I have build a few guitars. I had a budget to meet and I have put the fleor brand pickups in my bass p and I, strat single couls and semi hollow strat with these p90s. They are the typical p 90 sound. On low volumes it is very clear and articulate. Crank these things up and they push the tube amp. This is exactly what you want. I am impressed and would definitely feel confident in buying these brand pickups.

I purchased these pickups for a goldtop style guitar that came with ceramic magnet pickups, the output resistance was close to advertisement and wiring it was pretty easy other than the small space available in the guitar route, but they sound great in all 3 positions. Before installing them I popped a cover off, well actually it was kind of loose, but it didn't affect it once it was screwed in, anyway, they are wax potted. I would definitely recommend these P90 pickups to anyone trying to get a vintage p90 sound. And for the price, you really can't beat them.

First delivery: An empty envelope. They quickly issued a credit and sent out another set. These look nice, but have a few scratches on them. I remind myself that this choice of pickup saved me about $150. Also, consider that sourcing the materials for this and making them by hand will cost more than these cost me, so there isn't much to complain about. If they sound good once installed (currently in the middle of a build), I'll upgrade this to 4 stars. After all, I'll probably put my own scratches on them after a few months of play. But if I was making this guitar for someone else, the imperfections would be unacceptable, and the hassle of sending them back would be greater than the price of these pups.Long story short: I'll update on how they sound. They look good, but look elsewhere if people pay you to make/modify instruments.Update: They sound fine. I'm not about to A/B these against anything in particular, but the output and tone are both fine, and do exactly what I wanted them to do for this guitar. Upgraded rating to 4 stars.

The neck pickup in my Telecaster was kind of weak, so I replaced it with one of these. The guitar body was already routed for a humbucker. This pickup fit ok. I wasn't expecting much for a $20 pickup. It sounds great! At 8k, It's a good match for a GFS Fatbody 10k Tele bridge pickup. I'm very happy with the results after swapping out my pickups. My only complaint is the mounting screws seem a little short.

The pickup arrived quickly. I was initially disappointed in the chrome cover quality but for this kind of money it wasnt a big issue, Then I installed it in a chinese telecaster style guitar...wow. Blown away. Love it. Love it. Totally surprised. Sounds big and funky then roll the volume off and it cleans up nice. Inside quality was good. Wound nicely and wax potted. Cloth covered wire too. Looks and sound legit vintage.

Great sounding pickups. Sound better than pickups costing 3 times the price! Reverse wound so there is no hum when the switch is in center position.

So first I purchased the wrong size. I needed a 52 mm bridge not a 50 mm. Second the quality of the wire leading from the pick up was of poor quality and not dressed properly. Third the screws were useless as were the springs. Fourth the thickness or lack there of was also a challenge trying to get the right distance between string and pickup. But the sound was clean.I tried a Wilkinson it was much much better.

Compre esta p90 para un proyecto de una guitarra construida en casa ( no pensando en algo profesional) pero me sorprendió que realmente entre esta p90 y las p90 de una gibson sg clásica que tengo, no hay gran diferencia , la diferencia de costos entre una p90 , o seimour Duncan que valen 10 veces más que esta pastilla no creo que estén tan justificados.

テレキャスターのフロントPUは、ダンカン・フェンダー等のシングルを使ってきましたが、もう一つ非力であり、ダンカンのP90に交換を予定。試しにこの安価なPUを載せてみましたが、これはいい。ジャズ・R&Bに使えます。リアのシングルとのミックスもテレのあのきらびやかさに太さが加わり、なかなか使えます。カバーが金属性であり、ノイズもほとんどありません。これで当面は十分。

フロントに取り付けました低音が強めなので普段の倍くらい弦から離しました巻数減らしたら良さそうなんでバラすか検討中
