Work as stated when worn as intended
These reading glasses work as stated so long as you wear them as intended; high on your nose bridge to achieve the intended focal length between eyes and lens. If you're inclined to wear these low on your nose and peer over them you'll be disappointed...and mistaken. I don't have expertise to comment on whether the lenses are actually optically correct or not but they work for me as I hoped, and I do like them as equipped with spring hinges on the frame. Light weight, durable, good fitting, good looking and work as stated.

These are the best. I can see far and yet I can ...
Received my first pair of Gold Rice multifocus reading glasses. I am impressed. I have purchased several other pairs and they were disappointing. These are the best. I can see far and yet I can work comfortably on my computer and read the notes on my desk. I am going to cancel my eye exam appointment as these fill the bill. Had cataract surgery several months ago and the adjustment has not been easy. These glasses do it.

Nice glasses, great customer service
I really like these glasses. I ordered them along with another pair from another vendor. There was some confusion about these being delivered due to a delivery mix up, and the vendor was more than cooperative with following up. It was not due to vendor error but an error with the mail carrier.The glasses are sturdy, nice looking, and the hinges are better than the other glasses I have ordered in this price range. I like being able to see at a distance without taking these off. I got compliments on these and recommend them. I will probably buy another pair.

Great glasses - smooth transition
These are just thing for close work or multi-tasking. If you're just reading, any reader/magnifiers will do but if you're doing a task that requires looking at things at different distances then you will love these glasses. The lower portion of the viewing field is the near vision prescription and it smoothly transitions to a lesser prescription as you look up. Soyou can find a proper focus for things at several distances. The range appears to be about 1.5 magnification. If you get 2.0 glasses the lower view is 2.0 and slowly progresses to .5 as you look up. They are unisex glasses and don't seem to be too big for women or too small for men.

Reading and computer level are great. Distance, not so much.
These are nice, sturdy, good quality and comfortable. The case is nice too. The only thing not so great is the "distance" (non-powered upper portion) is definitely not clear. In my office, I work on the computer (work great) and reading (work great), but if I need to view the wall clock, I must lower them like regular reading glasses.
