a good price for a good product. Not as flexible as some, but this is the only two part putty I have come across which allows a mend to be made with another small mixing of the putty to seal a split, and blends right in.

Bargain, good quality product, very easy to use have made lots of moulds to broken ornaments with good results,,,

Works great but you have to work quickly

If you want to cast something/ reproduce/ fix a replica, this is the product, the detail it produces superb.

I was surprised by this putty as it is firmer when cured than the branded equivalent. A positive is that I haven't needed to add wire 'pins' to stabilise some of the gaps in my miniature - which I find are usually easily squashed out of shape when I demould the raw polymer clay. With the previous putty I've used, it was helpful to cast my models in a steel cutter or tin 'frame' to add stability. This extra step isn't needed for the Let's Resin silicone. It is also less greasy feeling on my hands. I think the durability is good and it does pick out the detail I wanted. The negatives are that demoulding the raw polymer clay well has been extremely difficult due to the shape of my 3D model so I am going to bake my projects in situ first. It is definitely a better product for resin moulding but, as I like the stability, I am going to keep it and explore different options. I have found that carefully trimming and sanding the cured mould does make it more flexible but I think as far as polymer clay goes it is better for flat objects.

Poor quality. I wish I’d paid more and got a better quality item. The putty is oily, as if it’s quite old. It takes o er an hour to set, not the minutes claimed on the packaging. Worst of all, it’s very stiff and inflexible unlike silicone putty I’ve used in the past

Why did you choose this product over others?: works really well with plenty of time to work with. Do have to be careful not to trap air in your mould. will order again when this runs out

The perfect solution for mold making!!! I needed a small amount of silicone to make tiny molds and this product worked up very quickly and did the trick. You will not be disappointed. :o)

Wow I've been trying all kinds of products but this actually works. It's a putty so you can form it around the detailed bits you are moulding. It is a putty so it's not liquid like others and the model doesn't sink into the silicone. I love it and will definitely buy again.

A comparación de las otras masillas de silicón, creo que esta marca ofrece más producto por menos dinero,tarda un poquito más de tiempo en catalizar la mezcla lo que te da tiempo de lograr un molde que logre todos los detalles de la pieza, el único incoveniente es que, una vez curado el silicón es muy muy frágil, si le vas a sacar molde a figuras con detalles, extremidades etc lo más probable es que solo puedas usar el molde una vez, otra cosa, si por algún motivo dejaste algún espacio sin cubrir y quieres aplicar otra capa de silicon ya una vez curado, no va pegar, tienes que hacer el molde en un solo intento y de preferencia solo usando una misma bolita de Silicone putty, entonces hay que calcular bien el material, para que salga a la primera. Aún así considero que es un buen producto para hacer moldes que no serán de uso rudo y de preferencia figuras básicas, lo volvería a comprar sobre todo para lograr impresiones o sellos de texturas, usos de ese tipo, sobre todo de emergencia para no recurrir al silicón líquido.

I had a novel project: I was missing one of the wrought iron heads on my new-to-me Victorian railing. I bought this putty, set it around an existing head, and let it cure for 2-3 hours. The mould worked perfectly and I was able to make a near-exact copy of an existing head. The railing looks perfect. This is a quality product able to tackle complex and difficult tasks.
