This card is for old-style, 5-volt, 32-bit PCI slots. About the biggest game you could run on this would be minesweeper. You might use this as a secondary screen on a workstation that was out of PCI-Express (PCIe) slots, or you could use it on a file/application server that didn't have an integrated video port.And that's exactly what I bought it for. Not many people have these old-style cards available. ATI Rage XL, and ATI Radeon 7000, ATI FireMV, and ATI Radeon 3450 are the only new cards available, plus a few Matrox G200 based used cards (dual and quad monitor support). When I bought it, this was the second best price, and the fastest shipping (based on Amazon logistics). Today, there is one for 20% less that's 1-day. Make sure you check to see what's available near you when you buy, and make sure this is what you want or need.Basically, this card is a 2-D accelerator, without much in the way of 3D. I mean, there technically is some DirectX 8 acceleration here, but since PCI32 has such low bandwidth, and the card is such low RAM, consider it really to just be a way people can do very basic graphics rendering. Doom or maybe Quake 3D 1990s level games, not anything you'd get in the last 20 years.I've had this in a server, running for a week, and it's flawless, exactly as expected. It allowed me to use all of my PCIe slots for NVMe drives.

I was so glad to finally receive this card as it solved a resolution issue on an older PC.

Card was DOA. My PC would not pick up the card after installation, and my motherboard beeped with a patten indicating a video card was not detected. Very cheap construction. Obviously poor QA standards. STAY AWAY!

came on time and was as advertised. I just didn't read closely enough and it doesn't fit my board. Such is life sometimes...
