So far so good!
I found this when looking for an avobenzone-free daily moisturizer with sunscreen (I think it's avobenzene that makes my eyes sting with certain sunscreens). So far, so good--no eye stinging! My skin is oily and sensitive, but this leaves a smooth, almost matte finish, and hasn't caused any irritation. It is a little bit thick, I suppose due to the mineral sunscreens. For that reason, I don't think I would recommend this for people with darker skin, as it leaves a little bit of a white cast. But I am really pale, so it isn't noticeable (and I usually wear makeup over it).I also have some darker spots on my cheeks that I'm hoping will fade with use, but after a week, so far no change. I'll update later and add another star if it actually works! For now though it's just a good daily moisturizer.

A very promising natural sunscreen
I'm the type of person who is trying to go with natural and cruelty free products, and finding a good sunscreen has been a bit difficult. I like this one, though. It has a very pleasant grapefruit smell--nothing strong or overwhelming--and you get quite a lot in a bottle (more than I was expecting). I have noticed my skin has gotten brighter and a little more even since using it, which is a plus.My only complaint is that it's a bit sticky, so you have to be thorough in rubbing it in or you won't get full coverage.

I love the Yes to Cucumbers daily face moisturizer
I love the Yes to Cucumbers daily face moisturizer, but it was out of stock and I decided to try this grapefruit one instead. What I like about the cucumber version is that it's very lightweight and has a refreshing, clean, subtle scent. The grapefruit one - which smells like a lovely light citrus - is more viscous than the cucumber version. I was excited to see the SPF protection on this grapefruit version, but the lotion itself wears more like a sunscreen than a daily moisturizer. With olive-tone skin, you could see a visible white layer of film on my face after cream application. I ended up keeping this and using the whole bottle, but I will not be buying it again. The sun protection is nice, but there are better sunscreens out there that can be coupled with your daily moisturizer and not leave a white film on your face.

I love this moisturizer
I love this moisturizer, I just do. I love that is minimizes my pores, thus making my skin look smoother and more even toned. I love that it has sunscreen, though I would prefer if a higher spf were available. I have very sensitive skin and this doesn't bother my face. I also happen to love that this product, along with other other products in this brand, use mostly natural ingredients. If given a choice, I try to use natural products. I've used other moisturizers which did a better job of shrinking/hiding my pores but with my sensitive skin, I can't use other brands.Just the same, I won't go outside without wearing this. I'm a happy repeat costumer!

Less is more
I used this product several years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was hoping it would combat the "pregnancy mask" I was getting on my nose, cheeks and chin. It did not improve it, however I did find that it prevented further discoloration. I recently repurchased it and found it was oilier and heavier than when I had previously purchased it. I had to use quite a bit less. I pair it with a primer prior to applying my makeup in the mornings and it works well that way. Less is more!

Not For the Currently Acne-Prone
I've used Yes To products in the past, and I always liked them. I bought this hoping that it would clear up some of my dark spots from years of fending off acne. It goes on nicely, but within 3 days of use I've developed several massive pimples on my forehead, which is very abnormal for me. My existing pimples don't seem to like this moisturizer either.I can see this being a good choice if you had acne in the past and want to clear up old dark spots, but it doesn't seem to be a good choice for someone who currently has acne. I might revisit this product when I (hopefully) grow out of my acne. Many reviews mention how bad the smell is, but personally it's not too bad. It smells vaguely like artificial grapefruit or a medicinal smell, but I wouldn't call it a deal-breaker.

meh
i have been using this moisturizer for a few months now and can solidly say that it's just ok. i was initially drawn to it because i like many of the other products in the yes to line, and it seemed like an affordable option for a mostly natural moisturizer with SPF. the scent never bothered me as i actually love grapefruit, and i never experienced any bad reactions despite having sensitive skin. my main gripe, though, is that it never really provided enough moisture, which is kind of crucial since it's a moisturizer. it left my skin dull and dry in some spots, and over oily in others in reaction to not getting the proper oils it needed to stay balanced. I recently upgraded to dr. hauschka quince day cream and WOAH what a difference. it costs astronomically more, but is totally worth it in my opinion. unfortunately, it doesn't seem like you can skimp on cost if you're looking for a truly natural, truly effective skin care product.

Apparently it works best as a sunscreen but since it's winter I'm not ...
I'll be honest and say that I didn't read the description fully and I thought this was a facial moisturizer, which I'm sure you can use on your face after your normal skincare routine. Apparently it works best as a sunscreen but since it's winter I'm not too concerned about that. If you like grapefruit you will probably not mind the scent, which is more floral than citrusy. Like some other people mentioned it does feel like a nice lotion, and a little bit goes a long way.
