Not pretty but def practical!
Well? where to begin, Tired of buying misc kits for a back rack install, and having little welding experience; tried stick welding but I was not successful. I decided to put something together. My project won't be winning any beauty pageants but it will get the job done! Def practical. After tapping and drilling 2 additional screws thru each head the bolts came together, but I decided to wrap everything in this putty just to play it safe because bolts will be under tension and stress.Word to the wise, Use the appropriate gloves when working with chemicals, or not? I didn't, but I'm not allergic to anything, residue on hand/fingertips washes right off.Details: KBS is easy to cut and and blend or mix together, color will become more solid as you work it. 2. Putty is easy to mold or form around shapes (like bolts) solid, yet flexible enough to create ur own shapes if need be. 3. Putty is sandable, easy to work with. KBS when dry is 100% solid. I took my time layered and waited repeated this process for a week. This is my experience, I was not given this product to test for my review nor did I recieve a discount. I purchased this item with my own funds and I thought it was a good product to test on my project. Will update if any changes after install. Thank you...

Legit!
I've used 5 sticks of this now on 2 trucks. (1) patched rust holes on a 78 F150 bed and (2) 08 Ranger cab. Works great and turns into a concrete-like solid, paintable mass. Wear gloves when preparing!

After mixing that is the color
Overall the product is great but make sure that once done mixing that is the color you ordered/wanted. It won’t change once dried. I order white but for some reason end up with gray as you can see. The product is great but I just wish that it had the color on the box or something. Now got to sand and spend money to paint it.

An amazing product that fills cracks, reconstitutes missing areas, and can be molded smooth with fingertips
Never having use this product, I had a black plastic roof on top of a John Deere ATV. Anyone who has used their ATV through woods, trees, brush and fields knows that they will take a beating.I had a low-lying branch which almost ripped off the plastic roof. It cracked the side and removed a portion of the front overhang.I bought this product not knowing what exactly to expect. The instructions were perfect. Simply slice a very small portion off the end of each piece and mold and knead for about 10 minutes. I use the technique of rolling along like a snake and then making it into a wall not. I did this over and over until the product had a solid consistent black appearance.I feathered it over the cracks and using my clay molding skills, I reconstituted the areas that were missing. The instructions noted you can make your fingers wet and use it to totally smooth out the surface and eliminate much of the sanding. I use that technique and it looks terrific. The surface matches the color of the roof. It filled the cracks. The areas that were deficient have now been reconstituted. This is a great product

Good at first, then bad
Based upon Project Farm's review, I purchased a 1-lb block. I really hoped to give them a 5-star review. It worked well for the first few projects. On my next few, it failed to harden, as seen in the attached pic. Additionally, the last 1/4 of Part A then dried out. I called customer service. All they had to say was that the shelf life is just six months. Hmm, I'm pretty sure I'm still using tubes of JB Weld that are several years old. Like a previous reviewer said, they must have a problem with quality control.

Saved me $5000 for a few living room window
I purchased NuMetal after watching a review by Project Farm on youtube, who reviewed several epoxy putty and NuMetal came out on top. The reason I purchased this was to attempt to repair a cracked window sash, damaged by the original builder of my house nearly 15 years ago, then discovered by Milgard window service guys. I contacted Milgard to get warranty work done only to find out that this specific window sash is no longer made (yep, window manufacturers to that to make money what do you think?!) So I had about 5 companies come to my house to quote for a new window. Everyone basically said the entire thing needs to be changed out including the non-damaged window on the right, and price ranged from $3000 to $7000. I said no way, so I purchased NuMetal a while back. 2 days ago, I repaired this, sanded it down and it's hard as ROCK!What you need to know about ANY epoxy product is that you need let it sit and cure for at least 2 days under higher temp weather, yep, that's right, despite what the box says. I know this only from experience. If you are making repairs during winter, you need to use a heat gun to accelerate the process. I literally lay the window outside in the sun for hours for 2 days. NO issue whatsoever with it cracking.

A great bonding agent!
Even though it requires some prep work and following the instructions carefully the epoxy works extremely well. I used it to make a repair on cast iron with very good results as it held the patch together. I thought it would be a hard to fix item it being cast iron but it held surprisingly well.REMEMBER TO READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! Measure and mix the components well. Wear gloves! Prep the bonding surfaces! It works!!!!I recommend this product for all those hard to bond items that are mentioned on the package.

Very good product
This epoxy putty is easy to work with you have about an hour to shape it when hardened (12 hrs) it is like steel .very good product.

Total fail, maybe bad batch or maybe bad product
I am totally bewildered by the amazing reviews for this stuff, how did it work for everyone but me?1. First attempt to bond with plastic: it actually fell off in brittle little balls2. Second attempt same thing, used a TON of bonding epoxy and left it near the heater for two weeks. Pseudo success 😒It didn’t fall off, but it’s very delicate. It looks like crap and NO it cannot be sanded, it just comes off.3. Third attempt smaller amount, left by the heater for several weeks: it fell off before I could even move it FAIL!4 bonding with metal: nope 👎!5. Wood? No!Huge gobs on plastic were not attractive and it’s STILL super delicate. If I hadn’t used so much of it up testing it, I would have sent it back. This was a super sad amazon fail.I was totally confident from the other reviews that this stuff was a slam dunk win so just a warning, there are some bad batches or something out there. I carefully followed all directions and it didn’t work as described once.
