Perfect fit and adequate protection for the FZ-80

My DC-FZ80 fits very snugly in the case. After practicing a half dozen times, I can insert in the case in about 6 seconds and remove in about 4. It takes a little effort and finagling. Maybe it will stretch a bit with use and get easier.I was expecting the flap to fit more snugly at the corners, but if you look closely at the product photos from the seller, you see that there are really gaps on each corner where the flap folds over. These are little oval openings (3/8" at the widest part) at the two corners. I wish there was something that closed those off so that dust or dirt was less likely to get in.My main purpose in choosing this was a very light, very compact protective case I could slip in a big shoulder bag/carryon. This case does that well. Stitching, material and velcro closure are all high quality. To my eyes, the gray is a shade darker but that's subjective.

I am a residential appraiser and I have a large bag that goes with me to appointments that has tape measures, my Ipad, a clip board, laser measuring device, batteries, pens, the odd paper clip and 2 cameras. I bought this camera case specifically to help cushion and protect this camera in my work bag. It works well for that purpose and keeps the camera from getting damaged by the clipboard clip, pens etc . I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again.

I am very pleased with this cover. It fits snug and I think the camera is secure. I can drop it into my hiking pack and feel confident the camera is safe.

A bit tight of a fit, almost to the point of being mismatched in terms of dimensions. I first put my camera in this protective case (odd fitting) and then place it in my camera 'carry all' bag that stores other items. Just be sure you have NO sand or grit in the case (i.e. at the beach, etc. as the tight fit will certainly take that sand or scrap and scratch things up. This also happened with my underwater camera sleeve for the TG4 Tough camera).

Thankfully my Panasonic camera is listed as a compatible model because I LOVE this case. I especially love the material and construction for stowing in my carry-on backpack or purse when I travel. It's way, way, better than most other cases I've seen. I also appreciate the mini carabiner that comes attached. I have it in red but I wish more colors were back in stock!

Fits the camera well. You have to spend a few seconds fo get all the corners to fit, but that is no big deal.

Carrying it becomes comfortable and light. Be careful not to forget that you have it on your shoulder...

Die Hülle ist besser als erwartet, gut verarbeitet, passt richtig gut und schützt meine Kamera. Preislich ist das Ganze schon am oberen Ende meiner Skala. Aber endlich muss ich nicht mehr so eine große Tasche mitnehmen.

Un bon produit pour protéger mon appareil

Fits my Lumix like a glove, a bit tight at first fit but stretches to fit. Provides protection against knocks, scrapes and the like but I would not want to drop the camera. There is no additional storage for cables or a spare card. I use mine in conjunction with a shoulder bag that has all my camera junk in, I keep the Lumix permanently in it for peace of mind, using the camera neck strap, it's great for walkabout where you don't need to carry all your gear. There is a carabiner type fixing that comes with the product which would allow you to attach to a narrow belt or a strap but I took mine off, I think there is no substitute for using the original Lumix neck strap for security. Incidentally I think you would struggle to close the velcro with the neck strap inside the bag. So, it does a job, it's will made, had a nice soft feel and offers good value for money, if you are like me and look after your cameras, then this is a must purchase, I love it.
