Strongest magnets I've ever had
Good Lord. What do you want to hold? These things will hold it. Incredibly powerful. Pay attention to the instructions warning against letting them get to each other (they come separated by thin pieces of Styrofoam). If you get two - or worse, all five - of these stuck together, you will play heck trying to separate them. I have a small but relatively heavy ceramic Wisconsin Badger that I wanted to put on the back of my truck. One of these is more than enough and it doesn't budge on a bouncing tailgate. I could easily mount something twice as heavy without concern. I also mounted one on a cabinet right under a bottle opener, and now I can pop bottles and walk away. Never has a cap hit the floor - they drop and are pulled to the magnet with a snap. They're incredible.

Very fragile
Magnet seems strong and of reasonable quality, but they aren’t that durable. Upon separation using the sliding technique, one of the magnets broke in 2.Still usable, just a bummer.

The Mega Magnet for Crafters.
I recently first saw a similar magnet like this product in use at the Great Lakes Mega Meet for crafting. I purchased a pair of the Strong Neodymium Bar Magnets from Omega Magnets from Amazon.com. These bars a very sturdy in holding craft paper/cardstock in place when you attempt to stamp precisely. Use in a Misti Precision Stamper or one similar to it. I would suggest buying 2 sets of these batteries for ultimateholding power. You will not have your cardstock move on you if you do not stamp correctly the first time.

these are nice though the size is really good and they're strong ...
I got these because a year ago, I lost this tiny bit of magnet that was the strongest thing ever. Then as soon as I got these I found that nickle size piece of magnet I had lost. I'm not a magnet expert but that little piece I have blows these away, these are nice though the size is really good and they're strong as well.

Works great for my Misti!
I wanted new magnets for my Misti and these work great! I like them better than the original ones that came with the Misti b/c they are long and hold down thick paper beautifully.

Perfect for Stamping Platforms
I wanted an alternative to the disc magnets that came with my Stamping Platform. The discs kept sticking to each other and weren't as strong as I needed. The bar magnets are a complete game changer. A single bar magnet is stronger and keeps my cardstock perfectly in place. Much better than the discs. I would recommend these to any of those card makers out there. You won't regret it.

It's exactly what I needed.
The magnets arrived in 2 days. They are solid steel so they don't chip and are very powerful. I use them to collect fine pieces of wire generated from the wire brushes on my Dremel and the large wire brush mounted on my grinder motor in my basement. I don't like using my shop vac first because sometimes I will find a tiny screw, ball bearing, etc. on the work top, around the floor and under my work table.

Powerful but brittle
The magnets are awesome and worked exactly as I had envisioned for my project (car mobile phone mount). While the 2 bars were separated, I must have gotten one just a bit too close to the other and they snapped together, cracking about 1/3 of an inch off one of the magnets. It was my own fault and fortunately didn't end up effecting their use. Just be careful and handle the magnets exactly as described in the instructions.
