DO NOT USE lube provided on the back of shims. ONLY on the edges where pads slide on silver hardware installed on bracket. WHY? They squeak especially when brakes are applied harshly. Update: Even when not using the lube provided on the back of the shims, these pads squeak. Not sure why. I had the same issue with both front and rear pads. I can only hypothesize that the rotor has to be a Bosch as well in order not to squeak. They do fit nicely and the stopping power is good, the main issue is the squeaking. Update: After driving for a number of days, the squeaking did not go away. I ended up replacing the pads with Raybestos EHT862H. I had to grind the edges so that they will move freely in the hardware channels. Other than that, they make NO noise. In conclusion, I would recommend spending a bit extra and buying premier quality pads to avoid the hassle of noises and get better braking power.

These pads were ever so slightly too big for my calipers , had to be persuaded in place. I don’t know about the longevity yet, I’m assuming they won’t last long because I don’t think they can move.

Bosch brand is one of the best brands that I used for my cars and these pads are not the exception. Bought for my Kia Soul 2016. Perfect fit!
