Good case, belt clip is a little loose.
This case is very good, but the belt clip does not hold it quite as tightly as I would like. The case is good and feels solid without being too bulky and the kickstand works well in both horizontal and vertical positions (it is a little wobbly when you try to click on things but as long as you stabilize it with your hand it is not really a problem, it works fine when you are not touching it). The texture on the case is only on the back the sides are smooth. I have found that for me this does not really help much when it comes to holding the phone but does help it to not slide around when its laid down. The case itself does make the phone easier to hold though. The only real problem with this product is the belt clip. When the case is in the belt clip. Shaking the clip while the phone is in it does allow the phone to slide around. I did try wearing the clip with the phone in it and walking around for about 10 minutes and did not notice it moving around but I still do not know that that i would trust it in the horizontal position. That being said the phone is quite large and I do not think I would use the clip much anyway as it is more comfortable for me to carry in my pocket.I would definitely recommend this case to anyone unless they are planning to use the belt clip most of the time.

Great option if you're looking for a case w/ a kickstand
I didn't really want the outer part of this case, that clips onto the belt. However, there are pretty limited options at this point for a nice case with an integrated kickstand. This case suits that need well with the inner portion of the case. It is rigid feeling, very solid. All of the edges are covered well, except for the very bottom and very top of the phone. I kinda like this though because there should be no issue getting this to sit in a cradle with the case on.I do have some confusion as to why the outer portion of the case has a kickstand type feature as well. This is strange to me because the phone cannot be seated in the outer portion of the case with the screen facing out, it must be inwards or it won't fit. So what is the point of having the belt clip become a kickstand? Who knows... I keep the outer portion put away in my bag just in case, but I always keep the phone in my pocket. This case seems to protect my phone very well.Someone else complained that the kickstand was not stable and that the phone would easily tip over when tapping on the screen. All I can say to that is, tap lighter. I had no issues with this. As a matter of fact, the screen capacitance is so sensitive on the GS4 that you almost don't have to make full contact with the screen for the tap to register.

Works, but far from perfect
I have had a kickstand on my last two phones, and it is so useful that I knew before I even got my S4 that a case with a kickstand would be a requirement for the phone. After extensive searching, it came down to this case and theย Maxboost Shell Holster Combo Protective Case for Samsung Galaxy S4 SIV with Kick-Stand Belt Clip Holster - Fits Any Version for Galaxy S4 S 4 SIV S IV includes Models for AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, International Unlocked . I couldn't tell the difference between the two, so I ordered both to compare and decide which I preferred. While this case still has its issues, it's far better than the other. For starters, the i-BLASON is probably about as slim as is possible for such a case, whereas the Maxboost looks and feels slightly thicker. This is partially because it is a little thicker (I think), but mostly because it's squared between the back and sides whereas the i-BLASON is rounded. While you can definitely tell the difference between this and no case, or even this and theย elago Galaxy S4 Case Slim Fit G7 - Eco Friendly Retail Packaging (Soft feeling Black) - Made in Korea ย (which is a nice feeling, tight-fitting, very light and slim case), it's not as substantial a difference as you might expect. It's a little tougher than I would like to get off, which makes switching out the battery that much more cumbersome a task, but considering this isn't something I should have to do often with this phone, it's not a big deal for that. I was, however, sort of hoping to be able to easily switch between the elago case for normal day to day and this case for when I need a kickstand (mainly at work), but the difficulty of removing them, and it is somewhat difficult with all three, makes me less likely to do this. Also, the strip of plastic in front of the power and volume cutouts is thinner on this one, allowing a bigger space around the buttons, whereas on the Maxboost it is thicker so when pushing the buttons your finger pushes more on the plastic as well. The kickstand on this one opens a little easier and closes much easier: On the Maxboost it is difficult to overcome the locking mechanism to close it, though the inverse of that may work against the i-BLASON by allowing it to close on itself in portrait mode, but it's too early to tell. Keeping in mind the kickstand was the main reason I got these cases, that's where this one loses some points, because it is not terribly easy to open. You have to get your fingernail under it and pry it up, which is sometimes easy and sometimes very difficult. Then, only one side pops up, so you have to then pull that up until the other side pops out, which feels like it may break it over time, or you have to get your fingernail under the other side and pop it up that way, which, again, is difficult. Both cases have this issue. Also, the kickstand doesn't work well at all on soft surfaces, which is an issue with the design itself. This wouldn't be a big deal if the phone could be mounted in the holster with the screen out, thereby allowing the use of the holster's kickstand (which is the way I thought it would work, otherwise what's the point of a kickstand in the holster). I imagine if they loosened the grip of the holster enough to allow this, it might be too loose to properly hold on to the phone, but I'm sure it could be done with some minor engineering. This would also allow the use of the phone on a kickstand without having to find a place to stow the holster. The case itself is tough, and I would have no qualms with tossing the phone in a bag of books or whatever while enclosed in it, aside from the fact the camera lens and, to a lesser extent, the buttons and USB port would still be exposed. The clasp strength seems a bit more than on the Maxboost holster, though the swivel resistance isn't as much, so it would be more likely to rotate a little if bumped. The kickstand functionality of the two seems to be the same. The fit and finish seems better on the i-BLASON, whereas the Maxboost seems a bit more clunky. As stated earlier, it's a little thicker all around, but where the i-BLASON slides smoothly and straight into its holster, the Maxboost slides in then once it's all the way on and past the lip on top it seats in, but in a way that just doesn't feel as smooth or well-engineered. However, it is probably due to this difference that the Maxboost is able to go into the holster with the screen out, unlike the i-BLASON, which is the only reason I gave it the same rating as this case. Finally, I personally like the visual design of the i-BLASON a little better, but that's really nitpicking. One final note: I just tried the i-BLASON case in the Maxboost holster, and it works to let me mount it screen out while also providing me with the slightly thinner case and the better case kickstand. Unfortunately, mounting it with the screen in it is too loose to carry as the phone would likely fall out, but I don't carry my phones like that anyway. It's not ideal but since I have both I may as well combine them. Still, if I were to buy just one or the other, it would be the i-BLASON.

Best case for such a cheap price!
Amazing quality for such a cheap price! This case is made of very hard durable material. I have dropped it MANY times and it has not cracked or broken at all. What I love about this case is that it is not flushed with the phone in the front. It sticks out just a little bit. What's so good about that? That means you can place your phone with the screen down onto a surface (such as a table) and the screen will not touch the table. All of the weight will go onto the case.I also love the built in stand! genius! I use it all the time! I have a habit of constantly pulling the stand out and pushing it back in while I'm waiting in lines... and it hasn't broken or loosened at all. very durable!Another thing I like is how the case is designed to accomodate the camera and flash. The case walls around the flash are not just perpendicular to the phone, the case angles outward. That's VERY IMPORTANT because it allows the flash to shoot outwards. cases with walls that protrudge straight out cause the flash to bounce against the wall and into the lens, which ruins the photo. This case DOES NOT do that!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Good product
The I-Blason works well. The case does not add bulk to the phone. I am not sure how well the case protects the phone but the holster holds the phone secure and the phone is easy to install or remove.I am happy with purchase as my main need was the holster for carrying the phone.

Excellent quality and usability
i-Blason is the excellent example of answer to most problems connected with belt holsters.Pros:No magnetic elements - Samsung phones hard reset when in holster with magnetic elementsNo velcro elements - always dirty, quickly unusableMultiposition - it can be used horizontally with removing direction left or right or verticallyVery good fit - it holds a phone surely but removal/insert is easy enoughSmall footprint on phone weight and thicknessNice material helping in holding the phone surelyBuilt-in kickstand is very good idea - gives possibility of at least 3 position to support phone when on desk to comfort use both in landscape (1 position) and portrait (2 positions)Cons:Slightly too big belt clip (minor problem)To open the built-in kickstand you need long nails or some toolConclusion:One of the best S4 holders that ever use

Sturdy Case
Case fits the phone well, it's light. I can't imagine the phone without it anymore. Nice and grippy.Holster (case?) has worn a little so it's not as snug as it was originally, but still holds the phone well. The phone actually drops toward the case when you put it in and there is a very small lip that helps keep the phone in place.Only about 1/3 of the holster/phone is above the belt line.Stand works great. It does tip pretty easily more so when it's on it's side (horizontal) because the stand is off centre.Worked properly when Iโve needed it!

Great holster case
Amazing case... barely notice the phone has a case it is soo slim... back of the case gives substantial grip as well... goes into the holster with ease and stays in well too...I would definetly recommend this case holster to all.

A Mixed bag
Firstly the case is durable and well made, clip works great. However this is NOT made for the Galaxy S4 specifically, the space for the volume up / down button is in the wrong position, so it's impossible to use while in the case, and the speaker on the back of the phone is covered by the case, which does a surprisingly good job of muting the phone to the point of being unable to hear it ring in a busy environment, even walking down a busy high street will leave you with missed calls. It's a shame, but the volume button cut out being moved and a cut out on the back for the speaker are really needed for this to be worth buying. Two stars for durability and strength. If you look at the pictures and zoom in you can see the phone is a Qualcomm or some such which i am pretty sure isn't Samsung ;)
