Lower tracking than previous litters, kept smells at bay
I first bought this litter hoping it would get a stray to use the litter box. This didn’t work for that, nor another brand. What did for him was a bit of soil on top of the litter. He now uses the litter box without the soil. I am using this brand now because I used to use World’s Best Cat Litter Poop Fighter. The lemongrass made the clean litter smell great, but after my cat poops in it, his spicy poo seems to overwhelm the lemongrass. The kitty is adorbs, but his poo is overwhelming. This litter smells nothing of herbs as they claim is in it. I only smell clay. Which isn’t a bad smell. Surprisingly though, it keeps my cat’s poo smell much more neutral. Most of his mess also doesn’t sink to the bottom of the litter box like other litters. It does clump majorly, even for his pee. Some people would think it a waste. It does do a lot less tracking than the corn litter of World’s Best Cat Litter. I haven’t really seen any dust bloom when I pour the litter like some reviews say though. I don’t have any allergies that I know of, and no known for the cat, so I haven’t much to say in that department. Overall, I’m satisfied with this litter for now. It does the things I’m looking for currently – soil smell-neutralizing; no mess sinking to the bottom of the box; low tracking. The price is also a little less than previous litters I bought for the same weight.

Works
My cat started urinating outside the litterbox a few weeks ago. I tried a pheromone diffuser, scooping litter four times per day, playing with him more, and nothing was working. Before I took him to the vet, I decided to give this a shot. I swapped litters, placed my cat in the box, and he peed immediately. I have to give it 5 stars because he is no longer urinating on my bed, however there are a few things I don’t love about it. It tracks very badly and is pretty dusty. Odor control is good. Can’t complain because my cat obviously loves it, and that’s what matters!

Miracles do happen
I'm going to try and make a long story short. Molly is approaching 16 not overweight well fed really a perfect cat in every way. Then she stopped using her box. Took her right to the vet had a slight infection took meds infection gone still not using the box. Fortunately for me I have a Bissell machine that literally sucks any urine on any carpet right out however I have white carpets and there is a stain. Figured out how to take care of that re-cleaned it and that is basically what I do in my spare time as this went on for a long time. I thought I was going to lose my mind I love the cat I cannot nor would I ever give her away but I am elderly now and the machine is not very light. I bought new boxes was using what I thought was a wonderful cat litter and then it hit me one night. Could there possibly be a litter out there somewhere that entices the animal to use it? I found Dr. Elsey's ATTRACT CAT LITTER. The minute Molly finished eating and must have smelled the aroma of it she went immediately into the box‼️. This was a while ago I felt if I wrote anything too soon I might jinx it! As of this writing she has not gone on the carpet one time..... now for everything there are pros and cons let me be completely honest and give you the cons. The bag felt like it weighed 800 pounds and I only bought a small one to begin with! It doesn't have an odor to it that I can smell but she sure can and that's great however I'm going to have to go to the pet store and get a stainless steel pooper scooper because the normal plastic one will not remove what turns into cement. The minute liquid touches the litter I can barely get it out of the box. I want everyone to know that is OK I'm so thrilled that Molly is using the box that whatever it takes maybe I'll have to buy a cement remover apparatus or a small pneumatic drill to get the litter out after she uses it but that's the only drawback. It could be because I'm older and not as strong as I used to be but in all seriousness it is like cement was just poured! I will figure it out that is not a problem it appears the problem has been solved and Dr Elsey needs to win some kind of award for this. It says on the package that it's formulated precisely for animals that will not use the box well he sure got the formula right. That's my story if you are having the same situation I've just given you the answer. I tried everything before I found this litter cleaning all of the boxes I have two cats making sure that the litter was removed almost immediately nothing and I mean nothing I did to retrain her worked. I have an aversion to smells especially cat urine so there you have it good luck to any of you that use it I wish you the best. Carolyn😻

Kitty Kalamity Averted
While not 100%, this does seem to be helping. Our little fluff was a previous stray or feral and after a couple months, decided to adopt us. She definitely wasn't used to kitty comforts and getting her to use a litter box has been challenging. We have the Scoop Free with crystals which she refused which then lead us to figure out a properly sized low sided tray filled with straight dirt was better. However, she was used to one section of dirt and we had to use that section to fill it which was still a little iffy. Adding the Cat Attract though, to the dirt mixing it in, there hasn't been any accidents at all, anywhere. There is some clumping but we replace the litter and dirt daily so this doesn't make too much of a difference although perhaps we should take advantage. There is no noticeable scent and some dust from the Cat Attract, not too bad though. This may be great for kitties looking for a softer or easier surface. We started with the 18lb, which is a little heavy to pour but so far worth it. Definitely worth the try!

Get it!
I was very skeptical about this product, I am pleased to state that it really works! I have a young female cat who has always had issues from an early age with the litter box (litter texture and scents) since I litter “boxed” trained (it was a low lipped training tray) her after their eye opened. I tried plenty from type, texture and litter scent and no scent, litter box covered and uncovered, invested in an automatic litter box ($500) to be sure she had a clean place every use, even a pheromone plug in for soothing and calming where her litter boxes were, a litter box set in the bathroom just for her, oh my gosh so much with little to no success. She kept going to the bathroom in the same wrong place. Finally, I stumbled on to Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract Clumping Clay Cat Litter, read a lot of information and reviews, and decided to give it a try along with changing the box from plastic to a stainless steel (I went with a high wall open top). It worked right away, first use!! It has been over a month now and she has been doing great with the change NO accidents. I didn’t notice any dust, it is very easy to scoop, hard clumping (so much better than Tidy Cat Multi-Cat) and I have no issue with odor. This product was really worthy of the value and peace of mind.

Life saver
I adopted a shelter cat and she decided to stop using the litter box one day. Vet said she was fine, her boxes were always clean, I didn’t know what to do. Did some research, found this, and haven’t gone back. She likes it, it doesn’t stink, clumping is great, and I’m not at my wits end anymore.

Didn't help.
It didn't help with the rescue cat that prefers pee pads! The other cats don't need it.

Clumps Well, Great Odor Control
Second part of my one-two punch to keep cat's litter area nice. It's by far the most effective litter I've ever used. Clumps well and prevents odor.

I want to cry
My cat had an allergic reaction to a food and got diarrhea from antibiotics. He feared the litter box for more than a month. No matter what we tried, he'd poop everywhere but in the litter. I sprinkled this litter in the one he already had, and he pooped in it within the hour. Couple of accidents afterwards, but with cleaning (all of the litter box) everyday and putting this litter, he has now been doing all his business for 2 days straight in the box! It really does work. I'm so happy and thankful I wanna cry!

Never Ever Recommend It!
Unfortunately, it’s a waste of money . After reading positive reviews, I decided to buy it. Our cat was going through “ I can wee wherever I want “ phase. Although she was using her litter box sometimes but other times she wasn’t bothered with it. It was driving me insane . Apparently this cat litter helps cats to go to the litter tray/box . It didn’t help to my cat at all. I also had to throw it out after using less than a week. Smell was absolutely disgusting. I was using Sanicat litters before. As long as I throw the poos or clumped pees out regularly, it was lasting up to 4 weeks until it needed replacing the cat litter with new one. This cat litter is the worst one I have ever bought so far. I buy Sanicat Cat litter again and suddenly my cat has stopped peeing outside her litter box . It was a very expensive mistake for me .
