These are listed as 16 ounce but the nc501 uses 24 ounce cups. can they be used in the nc501?

Yes, they are the correct pints for the Ninja Creami Deluxe.

Is this exactly like the container that comes with the deluxe. The Deluxe containers hold 24 ounces and this indicates it is only 16 ounces.

They are the exact same size as what comes with the deluxe machine.

I thought the NC500 series used 24oz pints. Why does this say it's for (2) 16oz containers?

They are the same size as the original ones that come with the NC500. I have bought these twice. Exact same, just colorful lids

Are these compatible with the NC-501 models?

Yes! The deluxe pints are compatible with all NC-500 series, including NC-501.
