No Pull Dog Harness Large Breed - Training Harnesses for Large Dogs, Black Dog Vest with Handle & 3M Reflective Material for Extra Control and Safety XL Size

We have a GS/Lab mix and we believe she is the runt of her litter because she's on the smaller side (medium sized weighing at 48 lbs.). We've purchased a few different harnesses at our local commercial pet stores, but none have lived up to money spent. We had issues with quality where the materials would wear or fray within a few short weeks. But our main challenge has been with sizing, so either a medium was too small, but a large was too big. She's never been the type of dog that pulls or lunges (a few Houdini moments here and there), but the point is we weren't looking to fix a behavior. We just thought a proper fitted harness style gave her the best range of motion and comfort. So after researching the different options and reviews on the site, we went with this harness. We purchased it back in March and waited purposely to review it now. Here are our thoughts:1. Sturdy! Compared to the pet store options this not only appeared stronger but weighed more than the ones at the store.2. Sizing! We went with the large and it fit her with no issue. Straps around her middle and chest are adjustable.3. Options: you can slip the harness on over the head or place it on the dog's back and buckle it around the shoulders and middle (we leave the shoulder clipped in and place it over her head, then buckle around her middle).4. Other: the handle is there to provide protection to your dog or other dogs and humans. I have found it handy a few times, but in general don't really need to use it, however if you have a big dog and need more control, it is really useful.If I HAD to find a negative, I would say the weight seems a bit much, but this points back to the quality and the buckles are big, so watch your fingers.So far so good! Not a single frayed edge, buckles and ring are sturdy and sometimes she even naps in it and seems comfy. I would highly recommend!

This harness is exactly what I was looking for! It is so hard to shop for my girl since she is so big and nothing ever fits the way it is supposed to, but this harness is perfect. I fits nicely around the front and nicely around the chest. It doesn't choke up underneath her little armpits like other harnesses do. The buckles, handles, and leash ring are all very sturdy. It is very easy to get on and also super easy to get off. No more stepping through things and forcing massive paws through leg holes. My dog is a Rottweiler with a 23.5in neck and 37 in chest. I ordered the XL and it fit perfectly for her after adjusting the straps a bit.

I have a 2 year old 100lb German Shepherd.Had a few harnesses as this one for the price is excellent. Easy to adjust and fit. As you can see from the photo he feels comfortable. I haven't rated durability as only just got it. However seems to be well made so I'm sure will be very durable. I ordered the large size which still has room to adjust for a 100lb GSD. The price was great compared to more expensive harnesses. I would highly recommend

I love this harness overall. I have a 90 lb shepherd/lab mix and he is chubby around the area behind his front legs. I find this harness adjusted well to fit and I LOVE the ease of putting on and removing this harness. No more trying to get the front legs through and buckling underneath! Slip it on over his head, snap the heavy buckle on the side and he's ready to go in seconds!! That to me is the best feature of all. It fits him well even with him being a bit on the chubby side. Buckles are super sturdy and easy to use and the wide straps provide a great deal more comfort than thinner straps do. The only issue I have had is that the strap that runs underneath loosens all the time causing the halter to slip sideways kinda like a horse saddle would do. I tighten it back up but it does continue to loosen a good bit. Not a big deal to me because he is an easy walker and doesn't really fight the halter, but if you have a dog who likes to struggle when you walk them, they may be able to get out of this harness if it won't stay tightened. In fact, my dog did manage to bend his elbow and pull his leg out of the harness once and it came off. Since then, I have made sure to keep it tightened but it is something I have to do pretty frequently. Other than that, I do believe it is the easiest, most comfortable harness out there that I have seen. Problem could be him being heavy as he is, but the harness still should not loosen up regardless. Price is very reasonable and affordable too for a large harness.

Firstly, I have to thank these guys for making a product that is easy to fit on a hard to fit breed like a basset. Our dog just went blind at a very young age and we needed something to help guide him in a more comfortable way instead of by the collar. The handle is an additional bonus for support if needed on vet trips. We are so happy with this product and recommend it. It’s going to be so much more comfortable than anything I’ve seen out there for dogs regardless of their or your needs. Definitely affordable and quality product. 5 stars! Thank you!!!!!

This is a great vest for walking your dogs. It seems comfortable, easy to put on and take off and looks very nice on. I would make sure you have it fitted tight enough around them everywhere. The first time I walked my boy he bucked out of his vest. Just needed it a little tighter around the arm pits. My boys love their vest and I would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable walking vest. It was strong enough so far for my 120lb Cane Corsos.

This harness is amazing. I bought it for my 120lb great dane after she was able to get out of her collar and run away from me. This is a sturdy harness, and the handle is great for keeping her from jumping or getting too excited. I would recommend this harness and would buy it again. It does not cinch down on her chest, but it still is able to keep her in control. The metal D ring on the back was important to me as my last had a plastic one that broke.
