What a fun way for kids to learn about different occupations and the different roles people play in a community. No computer programmers and we don’t exactly take film to be developed anymore but we still have mailmen, bakers, waiters, school teachers, florists, plumbers, painters, doctors, dentists, grocers, etc

I used to read this to my now adult kids 30 + years ago! The author hides pickles in a lot of the scenery.

Just as I remembered as a kid...colors are great...characters are fun and wording is positive.

Funny story long length for longer story time

My three year old loves playing mailman, and this book was so much fun. She also likes finding the "hidden" pickle on each page. We love Richard Scarry books, and this is no exception.

Paper isn't as thick as the old editions, but... stickers.
