Very happy with this thermometer. Quick, easy, accurate and within one degree of my other thermometer that was slowly dying.

I bought this to replace a series of more expansive, failed meat thermometers. This thermometer is accurate, easy to use and reliable. I've been seriously into grilling & smoking for about 6 years now, and have come to conclusion that the only feature I need on an instant read thermometer is temperature in degrees F. This does that. For me, the features like preset temps for different proteins, temp hold, timers, etc are completely unnecessary and inevitably lead to programing failures that render the thermometer useless. I've dropped this one several times and gotten it wet (when washing), and it still performs like intended. Great product.

Comes with a battery! I use this for work and it's been great to check the temps for foods! I purchased the 4.5" and it's huge! Pro's: -Color is a nice bright red, easy to see around the workplace or at home. -Accurate with fast temp reading -Nice little cap to protect the thermometer (it also clicks on the back of the thermometer) -Had a nice clip to stick to your apron/pants/ etc Con's: -None that I can see so far!

This works well. Instantly gives you the internal temperature. But being left-handed, and holding it in the left hand, the numbers are upside down. Righties should have no problem

Great thermometer. Well lit and large numbers. Works great. Seems like it is well made.

Instant read and using my old thermometer that has a large dial, is very accurate. That being said, the display is just a tad too small for me to use without wearing my glasses. This is a nice instrument but make sure you know how large the readout panel is if that size is important to you.

Works as described. Easy to use too. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Favourite tool in the kitchen, I clean it under a boiling water tap, always hits 99.6c which gives great confidence in it's accuracy.

Worked well for a while, sadly I briefly rinsed it under a light stream of water and it died. How is this possible? Unless the IP65 rating is not really true. Disappointed.
