Solid and well made
I bought this bridge in May 2024 to upgrade my Ibanez S621QM guitar that I bought late in 2023. At about $46.00 it was more expensive than most hardtail replacement bridges, but it was an almost exact fit for the original on my guitar. There were a couple of glitches that I will describe later on, but once I put this bridge on my Ibanez it sounded louder, fuller and the sustain improved too. I’m very happy with the construction and materials (solid brass) of this bridge, and it does everything I needed it to do. The saddles don’t move at all, even under heavy strumming and string bending, and I’m happy with the range of saddle adjustment. I was easily able to set the saddles for a comfortable action and proper intonation. Five stars all the way!Installing the bridge was pretty straightforward, because the holes on the new bridge lined up exactly with the holes from the original bridge. One difference was that the OEM bridge was fastened with four screws and the new bridge used five. I didn’t drill a hole for the fifth screw because four screws seemed like plenty to mount the new bridge solidly. I used the original factory screws because that’s what the holes in the guitar body were drilled to fit. The only problem I found was that it was hard to install the low E string because the thru-body hole was drilled just about 1/32 inch too far back for the string to line up with the hole in the base plate of the new bridge. I wasn’t able to feed the string through at all until I removed the bridge and used a Swiss needle file to slightly enlarge the hole in the guitar body. It only took a minute or so of careful filing to make enough clearance for the string to fit.I don’t fault the maker of the guitar or bridge for the slight difficulty I had getting the low E string to thread through the bridge plate. Musiclily did not claim that their bridge was an exact replacement for my guitar. When I ordered the bridge I expected to have to do some fitting work to get it onto my guitar. The bridge is very well made and has made a noticeable improvement in the sound of my guitar. I’m glad I ordered this part and put it on my guitar. Heavy, solid brass bridges seem to be largely out of favor these days, but I’ve used them in the past and have been pleased with the results. I would recommend this Musiclily solid brass bridge for anyone building a kit guitar or something from scratch. It’s heavy and pretty expensive, but it’s worth every penny in my opinion. I would buy this again for an upgrade to any type of hardtail electric guitar. Once again, five stars all the way!

Perfect fit
I didn't have to modify anything, perfect fit, all the holes aligned right. Used it on a hardtail guitar

Brass tone and weight with a sleek chrome look. Perfect fit.
This is a direct drop-in replacement on my Ibanez AX220. Provided specs were accurate. Decent quality. Big upgrade over the stock bridge. Reasonable price point around $45, but at the top of the range I was willing to pay. Happy with it so far.

The string saddle bevel was not cut into one of the string saddles
Didn't notice this until I was about to install the bridge. One of the saddles had no bevel for the string notched into it. Ordered a replacement to find out it will not show up until Feb or March. Extremely disappointing considering I was builder this guitar for my Dad. Now he may have to wait longer

Stout bridge.
A bridge like this that weighs half a pound is a good idea. Strings can transfer more vibrational kinetic energy into the guitar body when they are anchored immovable at both ends. (Never liked tremolos). I know it is an electric guitar but people that have played a guitar that resonates at multiple frequencies know what I'm talking about. The strings, wood, pickups, your hands, the frets, amplification, and the filters on the guitar, all combining like a sonic witch's brew.Resonance like that is what's happening when your truss rod starts buzzing.(I hope not.) 😔

So far, so good!
I installed this bridge on my Squier Classic Vibe '70s Thinline Telecaster because the bridge it came with kept breaking strings and I was curious about brass bridges in general. Installing it is very easy. The ease of setting the intonation set up is dependent on your skill level. I think I've got it right! Anyway, I'm happy with this purchase so far. So, my 4 star review is based on my first impression. I'll add an addendum once I've had time to play it more.

Perfect for Squier Affinity Tele HH
Used this to replace the stock hardtail bridge on a metallic-black, Guitar Center-exclusive Squier Affinity Tele HH. I also replaced the Musiclily saddles with Graphtech String Saver saddles. The stock bridge was much thinner and made of pot metal, so not good sustain. Also, with the lack of material it had more of a quacky/strat like ring instead of a tele twang. The Musiclily bridge not only brought some more sustain and twang, but the side-edges make it more comfortable and easier to pick when anchoring my right hand on the bridge. Aesthetically it also matches great with the blocky shapes of the humbucker pickups. Overall, great purchase for my needs I just wish shipping was faster (nearly 2 weeks).

Great Bridge…Great Quality!
Good solid bridge for Hardtail guitars. If using on a Strat build…the pickguard will need to be cut for a Floyd Rose bridge.
