When they say Gold, they really mean gold
I was looking for a thread which would match a throw I need to darn (small mishap with an ember spitting out from an open fire).Looking at the photograph on my monitor the thread appears to be a mix between a light brown and a soft yellow which would be a great match for what I have. However when it arrived it was gold, I mean shiny reflective gold. So much for the images that you see online. So if a kind of metallic gold is your thing then dive in and sample the water. If however you're looking for a muted yellow with brownish tones not so much.
