Great product and support
These are easy to use and work great. I thought there was a problem at first and the sellers were quick to respond. Turns out there wasn’t a problem though and it was a relief to see how fast they would have corrected the issue if there was one.

Broken lights, ordered a replacement and those were broken too!
Very disappointed in this product. Ordered and the first set didn’t work, even when tried with multiple bulbs and multiple outlets. Ordered a replacement set and those didn’t work either! Needed for a studio headshot session and now need to find replacements (obviously different brand) again! Do not order this product!! Was on sale for Prime Days and I can see why, they are crap!

Plug doesn’t work.
Why did nobody in the reviews complain about this weird plug and how it doesn’t work in traditional american sockets??? returning bc the lights won’t even turn on.

Great tool for socials
This has been a valuable tool in my social media marketing. It diffuses the light around me so that I can get a good picture. It gives me the option to have one in each side to help spread the light out on different spots. Great quality!

A Good Place for Beginning Photographers/Videographers to Start, But...
This lighting set is a good place for beginning photographers or videographers to start, however there are cheaper alternatives out there that are probably about the same quality.I've been doing some videography for a couple of years now, and I've used an assortment of different lights, some battery powered, some AC, some DIY fixtures, some not. I have wanted to get a set of softbox lights and start using those, so I'm glad I have these. At some point, I'll upgrade, but only if I can't adapt these to whatever situation I'm in.This light kit included 2 Feit Electric LED bulbs (a brand I'm familiar with and like) so that's a plus for me. The minus is that I think the 60w equivalent are a little underpowered, so I might try swapping them out for the 100w equivalent, which I have on hand. I would rather have more light than I need and adjust my camera settings, or dim the lights down as needed using an inline dimmer, which I also have. The included bulbs are non-dimmable, but mine are dimmable. The stands they included feel pretty cheap, but again, for a beginner's set, this isn't a huge deal. I do really like the way the softboxes work. They fold down for storage, and when you're setting them up, they zip together into the rectangle, and the diffuser material has small holes in the corners that fit over the support struts. Pretty cool, and very easy to set up. I don't know how well these will hold up if you're constantly setting them up and taking them down, but if you're using them in a studio, or dedicated space and can leave them up, that would be ideal. I didn't test them at the full height, which I think would have made them pretty wobbly. The tighteners also feel a little cheaply made as well. One drawback I found is that the softbox doesn't appear to be removable from the stands, so you can't use higher-quality stands in the future, or if you already have some. So, if something like a stand gets broken, the whole light fixture has to be replaced.Another thing I found weird is that the softboxes are both a little off-kilter as you can see in the pictures. I thought at first that this might have been by design, as there's no way to adjust it that I can find, but when I looked back at the ad, the pictures show them to be straight. Weird.I like that it includes the carrying case. It actually feels pretty good quality. So, for the overall quality and the price compared to other brands on the market, I had to rate these at 3 stars. If they hold up, I might adjust that. I've been surprised by a product I felt was cheaply made in the past, so I have hope. I'll also test with brighter bulbs and my in-line dimmer and see if a little tinkering will change my opinion any.

Extremely easy to assemble and portable
This is a cool studio light! I’m getting into photography and this is a beginner set for me. The portable bag is so small, but all of the items fit in it perfectly. The stands zip and unzip for easy set-up and breakdown. It even came with 2 bulbs. I’m waiting for a few more items to come to put it to the ultimate test, but overall I’d consider this a good buy.

Very nice 2-light kit
I'd consider myself a semi-pro photographer having done weddings, engagement, and high school seniors. I wanted these lights for some small-product photography. Something that would work with both my professional cameras and my phone. This is a very nice 2 light system. I use it for product photography, and I could see it as easy to use for portraits as well.It has a unique deployment system for the lightbox. Think of the scene in Jurassic Park where the Dilophosaurus expands it's neck frill as an aggressive move toward the star nerd. Basically, that's how the lightbox goes from collapsed for transport to fully deployed. Once you fan out the fabric and attached stays, the fabric takes shape and you close the zipper to keep it in shape. With the lightbox deployed, The diffuser simply fits over the lightbox by a slight stretch to fit loops sewn into each corner of the diffuser. The holes match up with the rigid stays in the 4 corners of the lightbox. It's easier than any of my other lightboxes that use Velcro along the full length of each side for attachment.I struggled a bit the first time. But once you've done it a couple of times, it's kind of interesting and allows for a compact, portable solution. When my package arrived the box was undamaged, yet there was a small plastic clip at the bottom of the stand that was broken. It's the clip that hold the legs in place when the stand is collapsed.Customer service (through email) was answered quickly. Really it was answered within 24 hours, and they quickly sent me a free replacement piece for both tripods. That surpassed my expectations. I also asked them a question about using higher wattage LED bulbs, and they answered that promptly as well. The included LED lightbulbs are plastic, just like any LED bulb you would buy in the store. It's important to know that because the included bulbs are only 60W bulbs and produce around 800 lumens. I've read that some photographers recommend a minimum of 1,000 lumens. According to the chart below, you probably want at least a 75 watt LED bulb. I choose to replace the included bulbs with 100W LED bulbs.IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE ANYTHING BUT LED BULBS IN THIS LIGHT!!!Also, don't forget to get DAYLIGHT bulbs and not the soft white. Soft white is a different color spectrum and it will add color to whatever you photograph.40-watt bulb produces 450 lumens of light.60-watt bulb produces 800 lumens of light (most widely used in households)75-watt bulb produces 1,100 lumens of light.100-watt bulb produces 1,600 lumens of light.150-watt bulb produces 2,600 lumens of light. These are constant output lights. You will have to position them closer or farther away from your subject to control lighting along with adjusting your camera controls. The carry case is well made. I really like this little 2 light system.
