If you need hardware for your Traxxas X Max, then this is what you need
Direct bolt-on for my Traxxas X-Maxx 8S 77086-4. Fitment is spot on, no mods needed. Quality feels solid and itโs holding up great to hard bashing. Good upgrade for the price. I highly recommend these. I have every screw needed for my XM Max. Nice to have more stainless and less rust

Excellent Product
I recently purchased the RC Screwz Stainless Steel Screw Kit for Traxxas X-Maxx 4x4 8s and Iโm very satisfied with both the product and the sellerโs service. The kit arrived on time, well-packaged, and complete, including the Bondhus wrenches. The screws are high-quality stainless steel and fit perfectly. The organized packaging made installation easy and hassle-free.

Its all there for Xmaxx
If some one would have told me that the included screws in this kit would be able to replace every one on the Xmaxx ultimate i would have been skeptical. Having finished i can say yup every length and size socket head, cap head and conical head that i needed was in the kit, all stainless and worked out perfect. Also there is a lot of left over smaller than i used and larger, im pretty amazed at the fact there was all that i needed plus so much left over. Definatly separate all of them into piles and work from there. I have to say this though the stainless screws are noticeable because of reflected light whereas the oem screws were not because they blended with the chassis color and didn't show themselves. I prefer the look of the oem better but stainless is a utility option. Buy it with the confidence it will work at a very good price!

Great! has more than enough screws, Missing flat screws
THis is a great kit if you want to go all stainless. it comes with a BUNCH of spares. (probably 100 or so pieces) The only problem is that there are no flat screws, for example, the servo screws or the center diff screws. their solution was to add washers for the cap head screws. problem was not one of the washers were drilled in the center. To be fair, we are talking about seven screws total on the X-Maxx, but those were the screws that were completely rusted :( Other than that, an amazing kit.

Great to have on hand.
So nice to have this set on hand, knowing that you can replace virtually any screw on your truck. If you do much work on your truck (I argue that if you're not breaking your X-Maxx, you're not driving it right!) you will strip out the heads on the standard screws. If I notice the screw heads showing any signs of wear, I simply throw them away and grab one of these. Having a screw that you can't get out is such a pain, I try to avoid it all costs. One thing to remember when buying stainless, these are not magnetic, so can be a pain when trying to screw them in to tight spaces.

they're fine. could be better.
Honestly a bit disappointing. Their website makes several claims that are just flat out untrue. machine screws are NOT superior to proper plastic screws when used in plastic. The course thread design is to prevent pull out, cross threading and stripping out the hole. Replacing coarse thread screws with fine thread machine screws does NOT provide a superior hold as their website claims. I haven't had an issue with this on my truck yet, but there is no reason for them to be spreading misinformation. Several of the specialty screws are replaced with standard button head screws but they don't provide any guidance for when they have chosen to make this substitution, so you just have to guess. their plastic case is not organized, so you pretty much have to dump them all out and search for the screw that you need amongst the pile. They are standard 316 stainless screws, there's nothing special about them, and certainly not the "best stainless that money can buy" as their marketing BS claims. I'm replacing the screws as needed when i take the truck apart to replace other broken parts and so far so good. For the price and convenience of getting "all the screws" in one place, it's fine. but honestly, for the money, i was expecting them to have done more of the homework rather than putting that on the customer. if the main selling point of your product is convenience, then it doesn't really work if it's not actually convenient. They just say "refer to your assembly manual for screw locations" except that the manual does not have screw locations except for a few specific locations. So you're on your own to figure out where they made substitutions or changes to the stock screw set. If they took out their marketing BS and put the screws in little baggies with labels, i would have given it 5 stars.
