Works great! Setup is quick and easy
Works great! Setup is quick and easy. My primary router is located on the first floor of our house and I wanted to use an Ethernet connection for my desktop in the attic since wifi was not an option. I was a bit scared that it would not work at first since my house is rather old and the connection would have to be to another floor. When I first set it up, I hooked up the box to an extension cord on the second floor. This was my mistake as the internet was really bad, my ping was incredibly high, and lag would happen during games (my primary reason for the purchase). After connecting the box to a wall outlet and not an extension cord the product works wonders. My ping went from the 300s to a solid 39. I have been using this product for well over a year now and I must same it was one of the best purchases I've ever made.I never experience any kind of spikes like I did with wifi and the connection is solid.

Linksys Network Adapter
This network adapter was easy to connect and it was able to get Netflix through my blu ray player using my router and my wall outlets however, once it was hooked up and we started watching a movie, the movie kept skipping and reloading as if there wasn't a good signal however the FIOS in my house has all bars showing (FULL) signal. I have no problems with my internet or TV service with FIOS. Never have. The problem is with this network adapter. I'd like to contact the seller and ask for a new kit because this one STINKS!EDN

4x faster then wifi connection, Great product.
I bought this network adapter kit for my Sony Blue-Ray player, which was running/streaming @ 45% of the router signal/wireless. They were very easy to set up.when I first tested the adapters, the signal dropped down to 38%, but then I realized I did not change the wifi/connection setting to a wired connection and wow what a huge difference. Now I can stream movies 4x faster then before.I would highly recommend the Linksys Powerline AV 1-Port Network Adapter Kit (PLEK400).

Extremely happy with this product
Extremely happy with this product. I bought it because the TV WiFi was buffering when watching YouTube and Netflix. My Tv is about 20 feet from the router and not to mention the wifi devices in the house caused speed to be slow , however once I installed the power line network adapter I have not had any issues. IT WORKS perfectly. Installation was easy, just plug everything into the adapter the plug both devices into the power within a short period (30 seconds should do)..... BEST PURCHASE I HAVE MADE!!!FYI - Does not support Win 10 for software update for now, as per linksys.

like a magic piece of Cat 5!
Items as advertised, arrived quickly and were in factory packaging. Setup quickly and worked first time they were plugged in. Work well anywhere in my home or in our church, (3 phase electric service). Wonderful way to extend the network where wired Ethernet isn't possible. Very stable so far.

Fiddly setup, partial solution, but finally working
I bought this to extend an existing pair of Powerline Adapters. PLS400/PLE400.The PLS is a four port unit, so I naturally assumed it needed an extra cable on two additional ports of the PLS to give me three usable PLE's. Turns out it doesn't work that way. Not that the documentation or product support offers much help. After much fiddling, downloading software, resetting defaults, etc. reading between the lines, and accidental discovery, I have one extra port. The PLS seems to act somewhat as a hub, so with only the original cable plugged into the PLS, I have one additional PLE operational. Plugging in a second cable to the PLS stops the second PLE from working, for some reason, and adding the third PLE has no benefit, since it never gets an network address. So, I could leave it as is, or set up the second set with a different security code to operate independently from the first set.Either way, I only get one additional port instead of two.For the price, a decent deal.

Good, depending on its intended user.
Let's start off by saying this product does what it needs to do depending on the intended user. I purchased this product a little over two month ago and have been putting it through its paces. I personally use it to connect my living room receiver which needs a hard ethernet connection seeing as how it does not have wifi. My receiver enables me to use many streaming services that come preinstalled, Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc. For the purpose of streaming, i find this product to do just the trick. I only gave this product three stars because it doesn't do so well in the gaming department. I also have a Playstation 4 and Xbox One in my home theater set up and i noticed much "lag" and bad connections while gaming. If your intended use is specifically for gaming you might want to rethink your strategy, might i suggest purchasing a ten dollar 100ft long ethernet cable and running it through your entire apartment / house. Other then that this product is pretty good and is very easy and quick to set up.
