PenPower WorldPenScan USB SE – Pen Scanner and Translator for Windows/Mac

This item is perfect.As an academic researcher, it allows me to quickly and easily transfer printed text in books into Pages on my Macbook ready for editing and referencing.The item arrived next day (note it won't fit through letterbox; you'll need to be in!) and comes in nice packaging.It's incredibly easily to set up: put the disc into your laptop / pc to download the software (you can follow a link and download from a website if your laptop doesn't have a disk drive).You then simply plug the pen in get scanning!Couldn't be simpler.It's also £30 cheaper than the wireless version which is also available on Amazon, but I don't see the need for wireless; I only ever use this when sat right in front of laptop anyway!10/10. It has changed my life!

The product arrived and I followed all instructions. It does not appear on my device manager. I wrote to the company and got a note saying they will contact me back in writing the next business day, which is a Monday. Paid a lot of money for a device that does not work. Brilliant.

I needed this pen scanner for making A-level notes quickly and effectively. This pen is ideal, does exactly what it says in the box. I haven't used it for translating however, so can't comment. The software downloads very quikly and is very user friendly.

Could not get it to work as advertised, so returned same.

Item doesn’t work at all. I have followed everything to link it to my mac and nothing doesn’t scan a thing and once you are on the app nothing is explained... i will be asking for a full refund

Sounds easy, but when used not very clear text. Not worth the money!

Does not pick up the scanned text well. If at all. Clunky software interface between pen and computer. Same for both pc and Mac.
