Fits well and quite firm, so offers a reasonable amount of protection, which is why I bought it for my new Fire tablet. The surface finish on the fake leather is very good, almost convincing in appearance. The magnetic closure and switching feature works well. The built in hand-strap looks like a good feature, but I haven't had much need to use it yet, as is the stylus holder on the outside edge. Also a good price compared to the Amazon branded covers, which I looked at when considering which one to buy but I thought that the price on them was too high.

Good quality, well made. Excellent design allows you to use it as a stand as shown in the photo of the product, also a more flat position if required. The stand is only useful in landscape mode, not portrait.Can be secured closed with the built in elastic fastening. Also has an elastic holder for a stylus.Neat feature is that when the cover is closed it automatically puts the tablet in standby mode and turns off the screen. Tablet restarts the second you open the cover. This cover will protect your tablet from minor drops and scrapes.I'm totally happy with it, would buy again.

I am seriously impressed by this functional yet very good-looking piece of kit! It's extremely well-made, offers maximum protection to the tablet (the sturdy elastic band, which the manufacturer advertises as being useful to keep the front-flap open, can also be used in reverse, ie "moleskin-notebook-fashion", to keep the case closed), and the viewing angle provided when the front-flap is folded back to form a stand is excellent! I actually prefer this case to the original Amazon one, which costs almost double. Very highly recommended!!

It really has changed my life, what more can one say, yes it does what it said on the tin, case fits, can't comment on sturdyness as only had it 8 hours, but have same on my other kindle fire 8, so can't see why it won't stay the distance. Happy to recommend this case, And like the "sleep" bit, saves the battery. And a great price,IMO anyway.

Delighted with this case, purchased for a family member. We had chosen the Almond Blossom design and felt that the colours and cover design image were great. The case seems to be sturdy and well made. Most importantly it fits really well and folds into a steady triangle to prop the tablet up. The attached elastic strap is colour matched well and is useful in keeping the case in position.Good value for money and would purchase again/recommend.

Overall this is a really nice case, protects the tablet will but there are a couple of shortcomings:- firstly the cutouts in the case don't actually match the tablet that well (e.g. power socket is offset a little)- the case also covers part of the screen, in particular when holding the tablet in landscape mode the case prevents you scrolling up (which is an essential part of the tablet operating system). This is a major shortcoming in my mind, hence the low rating.

Extremely happy with this cover, goes to sleep and Wakes up, instantly, great battery saver, never thought you could get me to say I would like this new hd8 more than my hdx but I do, so many more new features with this cover, makes it a double happy ☺day for me, I noticed one review remarked the back of their kindle scratched i disagree with this, cover is not been put together properly, this is a fantastic cover, good strong and will save you powering your battery 🔋 every 2 minutes, not done this for 2 days and still on 80% thanks to this cover.

This was bought for a gift for someone but I have one of these covers myself and they are brilliant covers. They are strong and actual stand up well when you want your kindle to stand up. They have the elastic cover to keep it firmly closed and a space for a pen on the side. It is also magnetic so when you open the cover it wakes your kindle up. They come in lots of different colours and patterns, they are just lovely lovely covers. Had mine for over a year now and still looks as good as new. I would fully recommend.
