So far, so good
This is what Dermalex themselves say -Results vary according to skin type. Within 30 minutes the skin is 18% more hyrdrated and redness reduced by 44 %. They also say spider veins will be reduced by 21 % in four weeks and 34% in eight weeks. They also say it could help reduce flare ups and the damage they cause. I think this is probably true and would recommend it to anyone who is newly diagnosed. So I am at the end of week one. Dermalex definitly suits my skin as a moisturiser. The redness was not reduced in minutes but has certainly reduced to the point where I catch myself in the mirror and think I look quite pale. It's no magic cure but for redness reduction alone I would certainly by it again.Update - 28/04/13 - I have now been using this product for two weeks. So far it has significantly reduced my spider veins.Further update - 11.05.13 - have been using this product for one month. Does not perform miracles but really does visibly reduce spider veins and helps a little with redness. However, went to Boots today two buy some more and notice the price has gone up to £18.98 !! A lot of money for a 30g tube.G

Cools and calms and hides redness but doesn't stop it all together
The cream is cool and soothing, I often have issues with creams stinging my skin and this never has. It has a light green colour which can't be seen on the skin but does help a little to hide the redness. It seems to help cool my skin and stop further redness however I haven't noticed it help to reduce or stop redness that is already there. Used frequently it does calm the skin a little and stop big breakouts from being as frequent but it hasn't solved my rosacea, however it is the best product I have tried for my rosacea to date, other than steroid creams! And I will continue to buy and use it.

... for a month now and my skin definitely looks better than it did before
I've been using this cream for a month now and my skin definitely looks better than it did before. My skin is very soft and some of the redness and spots are gone. However, my roseacea has been quite bad and there's quite a few really stubborn areas that I almost cannot imagine not being red anymore. It does tell you in the instructions that there's a visible reduction after 8 weeks. Some people on here have given up after two weeks. You've got to be prepared to give it a good chance. I'm going to post on here again after 8 weeks. I have tried lots of different creams and I've had roseacea for about 10 years so I wasn't expecting miracles anyway. Try not to be too disappointed if it doesn't work for you. Eucerin was good for me and worked for a little while too. This cream is very expensive though, so my advice is to cut the top off the tube and get inside it! You will probably save yourself another half a weeks' worth.

The only product I will use for PLME
I suffer from a skin sensitivity to UV light called Polymorphic Light Eruption, and have used this product for 10 years since being recommend it by a pharmacist.Plme doesn't generally have many products dedicated to it, as it's a rare sensitivity that causes rashes and irritation when the warmer weather comes out on the areas that often see the sun - like hands, cheeks and arms. I use this product to assist in the "hardening" process with PLME - allowing your skin to flare up in order to climatise to the higher UV light exposure in summer months - and I couldn't do it without dermalex.I often flare up with mild to medium rashes on my cheeks and arms in late spring early summer normally from spending time in the garden, and then use this cream to sooth the itching and reduce the rash. During the first flare up, I cover the rash in dermalex to sooth it and then wear light natural clothes as to not further expose the rash to the sun whilst it heals, and once gone (normally in a matter of days owing to dermalex) I am able to be in the sun again rash free for the whole summer.Dermalex has a wonderful fresh, rose like smell, and a novelty pale green scent that acts as a barrier and reduces redness - perfect for hiding the unsightly rashes.I can't confirm it's efficacy as a rosacea cream, though it does reduce the redness of my rash, but I couldn't live without it as a PLME sufferer. It's expensive for the small amount, but I've not found a product better, and I tend to only need 1 bottle per annum, so it's worth it in my opinion!

I can see a difference
A light weight cream that is toning my rosy cheeks down slightly already after just a few days use. I haven’t seen a massive improvement on the spider veins on my nose yet though but I will keep applying it to give it a chance. Seems like it takes about a month to get true results so hopefully by then I’ll see a real difference. It is quite expensive but I apply it lightly as advised and let it sink in to my skin pretty much on its own so I reckon it’ll last a fair while. So far I’m happy with it and have no regrets buying it.

Terrible
Absolute waste of money. Since reaching the menopause My face has become a little blotchy. Thought this would be good to try and reduce the redness. My face came up in huge sore lumps, really angry looking. I used the smallest amount for three days and it just got worse and worse, so stopped using it and the lumps went. Not only that, as that complaint may just be that it did not agree with my skin. But the tube also feels almost empty, each of the three times I used it I had to bang the tube against my hand to get the cream to come out. Simply squeezing the tube did not release any product. I think the amount of product in the tube is minimal.Tried to return the product but was told that this was not possible. An expensive waste of money.
