Best torch I've ever had, thinking of getting another one

Good value powerful torch.

I wanted a good torch that was easy to carry around, and saw an advert for the G700. This was the model that could be delivered quickly, so I went for it. It is bright - very bright. You could literally use it to replace a spotlight for a show if you needed to. This isn't a toy for kids, it's a serious piece of kit. The on/off switch is on the base of the torch. Press firmly to switch on. Press lightly to cycle through the various modes - low, medium, high beam, strobe and SOS. You focus the beam by sliding the barrel of the torch in and out. The body is aircraft-grade aluminium, and (should this be important to you), the top is bevelled to make the torch suitable for self-defence. The one downside is that the torch didn't come with any instructions, which was a bit annoying. It wasn't too difficult to work things out, but it would have been helpful to know, for instance, what the plastic tube that came with it was for (it's in case you want to use a single battery instead of three AAA batteries), and what the scale markings on the barrel meant. The focused beam is a little disconcerting because it's square (because of the LED) rather than the round beam from a bulb. There are varying opinions as to whether or not this torch is waterproof, and I haven't tested it myself, but it looks as if it would certainly survive being dropped in water.All in all, this is a pretty good buy for the money if you want a portable light source. It would get five stars if it came with instructions!

Sehr hell, sehr stabil. Nur die "Schüttel- an-aus-Funktion is irgendwie nicht so toll. Man will nur Dauerlicht und plötzlich flackert die Lampe... Hab noch nicht raus bekommen, wie man das selber am besten steuert......

Fonctionne 1 fois sur 2. J'ai constaté qu'il fallait que le compartiment ne soit pas froid sinon la lampe ne fonctionne pas.

Habe heute die Leuchte bekommen, die Leuchtkraft der Leuchte enspicht etwa der einer Leuchte am Schlüssel Anhänger.Also nicht das was man erwarten würde.ich bin sehr enttäuscht....

In generale visto il prezzo mi ha soddisfatto unica cosa speravo che la luce fosse tonda ed un po più bianca. Comunque ha un ottima resa e va molto distante.

Das wichtigste zuerst: In der Beschreibung steht (Stand 15.11.2016) >>>"Stromversorgung: 1 x 18650 oder 1 x 26650 oder 3 x AAA-Batterien (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten)"Das ist leider so nicht richtig, denn die 26650 Akkus passen nicht, was bei einem Batterierohr-Außen-Durchmesser von ca. 25mm auch nicht sein kann, denn ein 26650 Akku ist, wie es die Bezeichnung verrät, 26mm im Durchmesser mal 65mm in der Länge bei Rundbauweise.Richtig wäre also >>> „Kann mit 3xAAA Batterien/NiMh Akkus oder 1x18650 LiIon Akku betrieben werden (Adapter beiliegend)“Das tut der Funktion der Taschenlampe natürlich keinen Abbruch, ist aber für mich schlecht, da ich mich auf die Angabe verlassen habe und keinen 18650 Akku hier habe, sondern nur 26650 Akkus für die „Lichtmonster“ mit den Cree XHP70 LED.Diese kleine und handliche Taschenlampe nutze ich für die täglichen Spaziergänge mit Hund, denn diese Größe und dieses Gewicht, passen auch noch sehr gut in die Jacken- oder Manteltasche.Geliefert wird die Lampe, ein Reduzierstück zum Betrieb mit einem 18650 Akku, ein Akkubehältnis für drei kleine 1,2 Volt Akkus oder Batterien mit AAA Formfaktor. Ich habe dieses Akkubehältnis jetzt mit drei Eneloops NiMh dieser Baugröße bestückt und bin ganz zufrieden mit der Lichtausbeute, auch wenn LiIon Verwendung wahrscheinlich noch ein wenig mehr an Lumen und Lux bringen dürfte.Der Zoom ist leicht zu verstellen. Je weiter die Linse nach vorne herausgezogen wird, je länger also die Lampe insgesamt wird, desto stärker bündelt die Linse. Bis hin zu einem naturgetreuen Abbild der LED im Licht, in dem selbst die Rasterung und Bauweise der LED sichtbar wird.Der hintere Taster ist multifunktional: Tiefes Eindrücken schaltet ihn ein und aus. Leichtes Antippen schaltet die Modi durch >>> dunkel, mittel, hell, stroboDie Cree XM-L LED findet in sehr vielen Taschenlampen Verwendung, die teilweise das mehrfache dieser hier angebotenen Taschenlampe kosten, wobei auch die teureren Lampen keine revolutionär andere Lichtausbeute zeitigen dürften. In Relation zu älteren Taschenlampen phänomenal, in Relation zu Hochleistungs LED, wie der XHP70 > nicht zu vergleichen.Soll auch an dieser Stelle gar nicht gemacht werden. Für den geplanten Einsatzzweck > super passendPreis / Leistungs Verhältnis > ausgezeichnet

Die Lampe funktioniert einwandfrei, ist hell und handlich. Sehr gutes Preis -Leistungsverhältnis. Kann man weiter empfehlen. Jetzt fällt mir nichts mehr ein....
