Perfect for our nearly 3 year old! He loves his nursery rhymes and we wanted something portable and strong for him to use! It's small and not too big for him and light enough to carry around. It looks good too! The sound quality is great and it's simple to use!

We bought this for our 4 year grandaughter to play her CD audio & music recordings. She hasnt received it yet so her opinion isnt availible. We also won't know how durable or reliable the product will prove to be, in the hands of a 4 year old. I have played one of my CDs to make sure that it all works and all the functions are fine. My main criticism is that it has a very tinny sound and no function to increase the bass, so therefore I personallywould not be happy with it. Also the tuning wheel is extremely sensitive - you need very controlled turning to engage stations at their strongest. It is a very unsophisticated bit of kit but probably fair value for money - depending on how long it lasts.

this is just what I wanted. It's small and compact and the quality of sound for CD is very good. I mainly wanted it for CDs. The radio works well but I didn't buy it for that. The tuning is a bit difficult sometimes but that may be the reception in rural area I live. Thank you

Bought this As a Christmas gift. I was told that a portable CD player was what was wanted. I found this one on prime at a grrrat price. As a last minute Xmas gift I was glad to have had it delivered straight to the address and my mom wrapped it for her partner. She’s told me it’s good and exactly what he wanted however the ungrateful git hasn’t even thanked me for it or given me any feedback!! So can’t advise on sound quality or functions. I will not be bothering with him next year that’s for sure.

Don't buy this. I read the reviews, which made it seem a real bargain. However, the sound quality is very poor indeed. And MORE IMPORTANTLY it has stopped playing CDs altogether after about 6 plays!! Rubbish. Now just makes a stupid clicky noise for a few seconds before doing nothing when in CD mode. How do they make stuff so badly these days? I mean, what is it that was constructed so badly that it broke after 6 plays?? Junk. Would rather not give it a single star, but this does apparently mean 'I hate it'.

It's ok for the price, but sound is slightly tinny and I don't like the auto shut off as it deactivates all of the play / forward etc buttons, you have to slide the off cd and radio switch back to the off position and then back to the radio or cd - a bit of s pain especially with kids!

This is a cheap cd player for my kitchen. The sound is very weak and tinny. There is no way to boost the bass which would fix the issue a bit. It will do but it's overpriced rubbish really. At £35 it is too expensive for what you get. At full price, which I didn't pay, it's very expensive for a cheap tinny, flimsy cd player. Good first cd player for kids I suppose but not for adults.

Bought for a friend who has gone into a care home. The Duronic is coloured red in the front which makes it very easy to see. The controls are easy to see, the main ones i.e. the play/stop button, and the forward and backward buttons are separate from the rest directly in the front of the player, again making it easy to use. The sound quality is very good. A good buy that is why I gave a 5 marking.
