Q: When screwed to the wall do you get any side-to-side movement? The fixing plate doesn't look wide enough to be stable.

I used as many anchor bolts as I could and had no problems. They were attached to a breezeblock wall in my old garage.

Hi the holes are drilled at 10mm but the powdercoating will reduce it slightly, a 10mm will go through but it will damage the coating slightly inside the holes Thanks Gymcor Ltd

Q: What is the maximum weight the dipping bars can cope with before the fixings will pull out of the wall?

I don't know what the maximum weight for the fixings are but I found that the ones supplied were too short and thin, and pulled out despite tightening them as best I could. I'm about 16 stone, and I tried to secure them into a concrete block wall. I bought larger bolt fixings which worked a treat and the bars are now securely fixed to the said wall.
