Bought a set for my sister originally and ended up liking it so much that I bought a set for myself as well! I really love this cocktail set and it really has everything that you need. It's really great that it comes with a cocktail recipe book as well which contains quite a lot of different recipes and it's sectioned by type of alcohol.. i.e. different sections for rum, vodka, whisky etc.I also have to say - I love the box that the set comes in and it's packaged really nicely. This makes it a great gift but also a nice treat for yourself. I may not use mine *that* often but it's so fun to have at home on that odd weekend when I just feel like making cocktails!

Looks and feels the part. I make cocktails for a living so very used to different types of shakers, this one, although not quite pro grade does the job and is almost indistinguishable from much pricier shakers. only problem is the jigglers aren't correct, should be 12.5ml when turned over and the mudler may not stand up to heavy usage. Gift box is all good, looks more expensive than it is and the book supplied is quite comprehensive and a good addition, though newer cocktails you may need to google still.

Brought this as a gift after doing a cocktail making class with the recipient. Really pleased and will probably treat myself to one as good value for the price. This kit contains everything we used in our class and is good quality. I specifically wanted a Boston shaker which I found hard to get in shops. Before buying this I read some 5 star reviews and some 1 star reviews. To answer some of the reasons for 1 star reviews. The (very good) cocktail book is packaged separately in the outer box. There is a message in big black writing telling you this. If this was missing from earlier packaging you could easily not find it. Someone also said there was no rubber seal for the shaker. The shaker doesn’t need a seal if used properly.

The Boston cocktail set arrived professionally packaged, securely organized, and well manufactured. I’ve recently grown an interest in cocktail making after having a go on holiday and wanted a set to get me started. I didn’t want to spend too much money in case I was no good at it, however, this set was at just the right price and I am extremely impressed by not only the quality of the products but all the different pieces included. This looks like it should cost a lot more than it does! I have used it a few times now with friends and its just so easy to use. The shaker is strong and safe with no spills and the cocktail guide is really helpful – I didn’t realise how many cocktails there are! Love it

This set feels very good quality, it is all nice and heavy and does not feel flimsy at all. It has been bought to replace a plastic shaker I had. All the extra tools that come with the set are very handy and of good quality as well, it has helped me make far more creative and complex cocktails at home. The recipe book has so many options in it. It is almost overwhelming, however after a few glances through it there were a few cocktails that caught my eye that I wanted to try that I had never heard of. Really nice set, I am considering buying one for a present for someone now too.

Well packaged and timely delivery. Glass is thick and weighty, the measures are ideal for home but are NOT marked by weights and measures so can't be used for business. The book has a good quality feel and the cocktail recipes set out in a good system for ease of location. Comes well presented in the box and, again, has a quality feel to it. Bought as a gift for my partner and can't wait for it to be put in use.

Liquid escapes from the shaker seal, causing wastage, the liquid trapped round the seal then causes it to pop open. The shape of the tin is the issue, it won't seal properly with other boston glasses either.I just use the glass for mixing and the tin to hold my tools. Which is fine, but the shaker should be the centrepiece of the set, so it's a shame it doesn't function as such.Wood is not the best material for the muddler as the teeth wear down quickly.Book fine, lots of recipes for inspiration. Measures and strainer fine.Good spoon.

For the price you pay you get everything you need and much cheaper than if you bought everything separately.. It comes in a nice box which looks great if you want to give it as a present. Muddler feels cheap, but does what it is supposed to do I do not mind it at all. All other stuff are fine, just plain metal, you would see same stuff in any bar, you can't really go wrong here. The book gives you classic cocktail recipes which if you like them is great, but classic cocktails for general people are not as tasty as current modern cocktails in most cases so be aware of that, you will not find cocktails such as you would find on Tipsy Bartender youtube channel if you are into that. On the other hand, I assumed the book just as a nice supplement to the items anyway so it is fine, the whole kit is totally worth the price and more, hence 5 stars.

Preso per un regalo ed è molto carino, arriva nella sua scatola adattissima ad un regalo appunto, tutto perfettamente imballato, ha un buon boston shaker e tutti gli accessori che servono per iniziare. I misurini sono due divisi anziche il classico jigger ma cambia poco. Inoltre ha un libro di cocktail che ne comprende più di 500, l'unica pecca è che è in inglese ma comunque conoscendolo almeno un po' è più che comprensibile.

Was looking for a reasonably priced cocktail set as a Christmas gift for a friend and this seemed to be the best by far for the price. She was very pleased with this. It has just about everything you need and the quality seems nice. We've made drinks with it twice now and used just about everything, and it all works great. For the money you can't go wrong with this and I highly recommend.

En realidad se aprecia como un equipo profesional, yo nos bartender, aunque he realizado cursos de cocteleria y trabajo en Restauarntes y bares. La calidad de los componentes es decente y las medidas estan bien. Si alguien quiere ser mas cientifico con rrspecto de esto, comprar una Probeta y solucionado.El libro no es mucha calidad en cuanto a material, pero su valor esta en el contenido que incluye 500 recetas de cocteles de todo el mundo y todo tipo.
