Nothing to fault - Does what it says on the tin!
Ordered this for my XPS 15 when I found that the SD port would not leave the cards flush with the side of the device. This little tool is simple yet effective, as well as being slightly more secure in terms of holding micro SD cards in place. When inserted into the laptop the outer edge of the card sits just out, enough so that you can get your finger into the groove and pull it out when needed.I’ve had this for a while now, and no faults or issues so far, even under heavy use. This particular one was slightly more expensive than others that I have come across however I am willing to pay slightly more for a product that is likely to work better and last longer, which this one certainly has done.Shipping was fast and packaging was similar to what you’d get a USB drive or SD card in normally, nothing too excessive

Working nicely (Dell 9560)
Have used this with my Dell 9560 as a means to have simple mobile backup drive using a 128gb card. protrudes only slightly, enough to pull it out (which is good, as you cant push it in to eject via a spring load type system).

Fits nicely
Fits my MacBook Air 2011 perfectly! Leaves out only that 2 mm ridge to pull it.4* because the other day told me that the unit was removed not correctly and I barely touch it.

Great product for Dell XPS
Fits perfectly in my Dell XPS 13 (9360). Bought an SXCD 128GB card and placed into this adapter - fits really snug (looks like it is part of the laptop - does not jut out at all) and works fantastic (75mb write). Great product. Not sure how I will get it out, but then I bought it to fit in, so I will worry about that another time.

Useful & good quality item.
Been using this for 8 months.Lets me keep an SD card permanently in my MacBook Pro to use for Time Machine.Sticks out JUST enough to be able to catch it with a thumbnail to remove it if needed,but not enough to catch on anything, placing strain on the socket.Mine is a 2013 MacBook Pro 13"

Sticks out Macbook Pro 13 Retina ~6mm.
Works well. 4 stars since it sticks out of my Macbook Pro 13 Retina about 6mm. Does not slow down benchmark speeds for fast cards.

Great short adapter for micro sd card
Great short adapter for micro sd card. This short version fits nearly flush with side of lap top so removing the risk of catching the adapter and breaking it or the socket it is in, so it can remain in the side of the Mac or laptop and used as a back up drive.

Perfect fit for 15" MBPR
Very happy with purchase, it's a perfect fit for my early 2013 15" MacBook Pro RetinaWhen inserted into my mac It sticks out by less than 1mm but that's just enough to enable you to get your fingernail into the little groove if you want to remove the card.. and it's cheap too!! Highly recommended.
