Mirafit 15mm Extra Thick Yoga Exercise Floor Mat - Choice of Colours

Love this was surprised how thick it was, exactly what I was looking for

Its 9 years old this year (2017). Used a lot and its still going strong. Amazing to be honest 😂

Had this for 7 years and 4 months at time of writing this review and its still comfortable and still in good condition. Was only £9.99 when I bought it back then so was very good value for money. I remember it smelling a bit when it arrived but that can be common with certain materials. The smell wore off over time. Very good product and am about to buy my mum one to help her joints during yoga. Shame its gone up to £19 but still well worth the money.

I got this mat back in early 2018 (now 2021), the only reason I am looking to replace it is my dog chewed it! When I first got it, yes it was a little stretchy and a little slippy and it did roll-up, however, this is what I expected with such a thick mat. After about 6 months of good use, it was absolutely fine and I have used it 2-3 times a week since with no issues. It used to hold imprints, such as of feet /hands or the strap, however, it doesn't anymore. It does need a month to be broken in - to stretch out! I'm sure a thinner 'propper' yogi mat will be much gripper underneath, ill admit I don't do handstands on it in case it moves, however, I think this is the compromise you take for the additional thickness and comfort - which for me is a priority. Would buy it again if they did more colours :)

The mat is very comfortable, being nice and thick. It doesn't move on the floor during the various exercises. It also looks very smart with its bright orange cover. There are 2 black elastic fabric bands to secure the rolled up mat. It would have been helpful if there had been another band joining the other two together to help the carrying of the mat, but this is the only negative point and it's a very minor point especially having regard to the very reasonable price.

It's difficult to get excited about an exercise mat, and I'm not, but clearly the guys at MiraFit are, as they emailed me asking for me to review so I'll do my best. Measuring in at a hefty 15mm this excellent mat provides 50% more cushioning than other mats 2/3 of its thickness. Mine came rolled up with two reusable elasticated bands, which so far have ensured that, when rerolled, the mat keeps a roughly cylindrical shape and can be stored down the side of my underwear cupboard. The colour is a vibrant orange, which brings to mind the tartrazine-loaded orange squash drinks of my boyhood, which are probably now banned by the WHO. In terms of length I'm more than satisfied, as it fits my 6 foot frame. If you are 6'8" or so then maybe this would be too short? Finally a word for the MiraFit logo which I think represents a conifer that's fallen over. As you do your 27th sit up and are wishing you were eating bacon instead it's a nice distraction wondering why they chose that particular design.

Fantastic Mat and rolls out nicely. You'd think it might retain its curving being rolled up but NO it rolls out flat and a nice colour too (I got the Orange). You might get a tiny curve at the very ends but thats to be expected but you can flatten that if you reverse roll it once open. The black elasticated Bands in the picture around the Mat keep the mat rolled up well too. It is thick and very comfortable to lay on. My only gripe it could be 10cm wider and it would be totally perfect!

Like many, I decided I would keep myself fit during the lockdown, but needed a mat as I wanted to try out Yoga. Having a wooden floor, it wouldn't be very comfortable without it. Anyway, I wasn't looking to spend a fortune, and wanted something comfortable and durable. So, I have been using this for around 3 weeks now, 3 to 4 times a week for Yoga, core and Hit workouts. I use this on a wooden floor, and it doesn't slip, and seems to be retaining its integrity without any splits so far. It rolls back up easily and secure with 2 elastic straps. So far, very happy, and would recommend.
