Would these be strong enough to use as strings for helium balloons?

No idea I'm afraid - but they are quite smooth - like smooth plastic covered wire - so keeping the string from sliding could be a problem. I've put mine in some coloured bottles and they, in my opinion, look really pretty.

Why does the delivery charge increase by 1.99 with each light ordered? I would assume that multiple lights would be put in the same box.
