Best brush you will ever buy
This Boar Bristle beard brush by Seven Potions is outstanding. Being bearded I can tell you that this brush is perfect for everyday use such as, distributing beard oil, styling and nourishing your skin and hair. It’s the perfect size for your hand, made of pear wood with 100% cut boar bristles, easy to use and the bristles are nice and firm. Using this is far better than a plastic / wooden comb, you can really feel this work. You can use this from starting out on your bearded journey all the way through to that huge mane you have grown. Seven potions in my opinion are absolutely fantastic, I use their brush, beard oil and moisturiser. Excellent company right here in the uk supplying nothing but the best. One picture supplied is this brush in a seven potions wooden storage box which is sold separately, but well worth buying to keep it nice and clean.

Good quality, value for money!
I really like the brush, I had another from Kent which - allegedly is also made with boar bristles - but is softer. Personally I like a beard brush that’s softer but that’s just my preference. But I feel the firmness if the bristles will ensure it sticks in place over prolonged used and will really help with more tougher beards. As for value for money, I bought the Kent brush for more than £20 (can’t remember the exact price) so I’m pretty sure that it’s worth what you’re paying for the quality. I did some research on the brand and other reviews before buying this brush to ensure they have used authentic boar hair for the bristles. The brush is actually smaller than I expected! But it means it makes it more convenient to travel with and it’s not so small that you don’t get a proper grip, I mean I have big hands and I’m able to use it effectively, although I would have liked it to be a bit bigger (it’s smaller compared to the Kent brush).Overall it’s a good buy and I would highly recommend it hence why I’m not going to be super optimistic and give it 4 stars just to be more objective as nothing really popped out and exceeded my expectations.

A must have for me now
I'm fairly new to having a beard but it has grown rather large and, in the morning, it can look really messy. I've found that a comb doesn't neaten it out anymore but this boar bristle brush does.It is made of pear wood (which has such a wonderful scent) and thick boar bristles. In fact, this brush not only neatens my beard but also helps remove dead skin whilst neatening it. It also helps in lathering Aleppo soap on my beard in the shower, and getting it to the skin. This has become one of my daily essentials. I recommend this highly!

Good firm bristled brush
I have a soft bristled beard brush which was fine when my beard was shorter. I have grown my beard a little longer, now about 4 inches, and the soft bristles weren't strong enough. This brush has much firmer bristles and really gets through the beard down to the skin. Great brush for making sure your beard oil is evenly spread throughout the beard. It did take a bit of getting used to after using the soft bristle brush as the firmer bristles are quite harsh on the skin if you brush too firmly. It is a good sized brush and is nice to hold. I would definitely recommend to any bearded gentlemen out there!

On the smaller side, but the quality is top notch!
I have owned quite a few beard brushes and I tended to go for cheaper ones, however, what I found with those was that the bristles tended to have no space between them, making the cleaning process impossible especially on the bristles closer to the centre. This is an issue when it comes to long-term use.So this time around I opted to purchase one that was more premiumly priced and I am pleased with my decision. This brush is smaller in size compared to the previous ones I have owned but that makes it ideal when it comes to travel. The bristles are also a bit tougher and not as soft compared to the cheaper options out there, so it may take some time to get used to it, but it feels like you're actually brushing your beard which is nice. The bristles are also well spaced out so any dirt that will gather through normal use can easily be cleaned and the brush can be well maintained.I would gladly recommend this to anyone that is in the market for a beard brush!

Amazing Quality
I was unsure what I was going to expect out of this brush, considering there are many brands which sell similar brushed for 5x the price so I was expecting some kind of poor quality. But I was wrong. It comes in a really nicely designed yellow box which I always keep the brush inside because of the quality of the box alone. The brush itself is very smooth to hold and the bristles really do the job and really help untangle the curls in your beard. It feels and looks like a designer brush! Highly recommended! I also recommend getting a comb with the brush to tidy up your beard after brushing!

The best beard brush at this price point
There are a lot of beard brushes out there (some of them I am convinced are repurposed shoe brushes but anyway), but I think this is the best one for the money - and I own several. In my opinion, beard brushes are their most effective when their bristles are incredibly stiff, and this one is about as stiff as it gets. First-cut boar is the way to go. This stiffness allows the bristles to be quite long, which allows this brush to be used on longer beards; a lot of these shoe-brush style beard brushes aren't effective once your beard reaches a certain length. The brush is quite small, but I do not think this is a bad thing. The handle is nice, with no cheap paint or tacky decals. I might even like this brush better than my Zeus first-cut brush, which is about 4 times the price (it's also 4 times the size).

Expensive, but good quality
Expensive brush, but probably worth it. Using it for a week. Hopefully will last for a long time.I also was a bit concerned about wood getting moldy if I occasionally rinse it with water, but hopefully the protective oil should prevent this.

Quality brush.
Firstly this brush is smaller in hand than whatever expectation I created for myself from looking at the pictures. At first I thought it was going to be a bit dainty - turns out, it’s perfect.“1st cut boar bristles” is marketing speak for “nature’s steel wire”. This little brush could detangle a dreadlocked rat’s nest mess just as easily as it sorts out my patchwork quilt of a beard. Exfoliates, tidies, softens. Does everything it says on the tin.(For the record, that’s a turn of phrase - it comes in a box. I only mention this because a tin would be better).Expensive but better than other products I’ve had in the past from Wahl and Traditional Barbers. I both recommend it and will buy it again. This is a quality product and going for a cheaper alternative and thinking you can just replace it at lower cost is a false economy. This thing looks and feels like it is built to last. I’ll update this review if that turns out to be incorrect.FWIW, I paired this with the Slick “Australian Sandalwood” Beard Balm. It’s a good combo.
