This is a superb product. The quality really shines with its beautiful fragrance and the fact that it gets the job done with very little. I had previously avoided this brand because of reviews saying it doesn't lather well enough and so you'll burn through it very quickly. This could not be more wrong. I personally have found that a little goes a long way and my beard is well over a year old reaching nearly 8.5-9 inches on the longest hairs and generally dense growth all round and I get plenty of suds from a drop that only takes up less than a quarter of the palm of my hand. I have noticed my beard hair has gotten smoother and more resilient within mere days of using this. This is going to be a mainstay in my routine for the foreseeable future.

Actually works. Beard was shedding white dust like a bathroom counter in a nightclub. Used this stuff a few times and it’s cleared up no end. Barely anything coming out of it now and my beard is more soft and shiny than an Afghan hound’s coat in the sun. The smell reminds me of a peaty forest on a warm day after a rainfall, not miles from a badgers den, but not too close either. Badger adjacent, close enough you know he’s there, and can give you a nasty nip, but not close enough you can smell his breakfast. All in all, bloody good stuff

I washed my beard with this the first time the other day and it was so nice. Felt like it gave my beard a proper deep clean, but without stripping it too much! Smells amazing as well. The only negative thing I can say is the price is a bit high for such a small bottle. But you really don't need a lot, as it goes a long way. But then as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. And it's nice to know this company actually cares about what goes into their products and is cruelty free. Being a veggie, that's a massive plus for me as well.

So, I wasn't sure about this product at first because I've always been a little cautious when products are advertised as the 'best' because a. it's open to interpretation, and b. what works for some may not work for others. Nonetheless, after a bit of online research and being drawn by not only the brand name, but also the ethos of the company, all the way to the image displayed by their packaging and labels which interested me, I ordered this product. Initially, I was a bit disappointed. It smelled good but tended to feel like it was stripping and drying the beard hair out. At least that's how it felt. Nonetheless, I put this down to the introduction of new product and decided to bear with it and keep using it, twice a week or so. Although I've been using beard balms and oils for years, my beard had never before seen a dedicated shampoo treatment as I had always thought it was okay to wash the beard along with the head hair routine. Let tell you something for nothing. This really is a potion and a half. A little goes a very long way. Leaves the beard feeling and looking fresh, full, and conditioned, this shampoo brings out natural beard 'spring' of colours and the scent is manly enough without being too much so. I love it, my partner loves it, and I've had nothing but positive comments since I've been using it. I wish I'd taken the larger bottle option but I didn't see this until just after placing the order. I'm super excited about this product, and I can't wait to try out more beard care products from this range. Hat's off, Seven Potions. Well played.

TL/DR: Genuinely excellent as a beard shampoo but the smell is overpoweringly strong. This beard shampoo is excellent for making your beard nice and soft. After shampooing my beard feels really soft and clean. The shampoo is also excellent at dealing with beard druff / flakes. What I didn't like so much is that both the shampoo and the matching beard oil have an overpowering but short-lived smell. The smell isn't unpleasant or synthetic like some beard products but for the first half an hour or so the smell is excessively, overpoweringly strong. After the first hour or so the smell almost entirely disappears. If you like the smell then this may not be an issue for you but for me it's simply too strong.

I’ve been using this shampoo regularly for few years now. Helps with dandruff and keeps my beard fresh and clean. I’d recommend for everyone.

i bought a bottle of this last year it was 250 ml , I know i should have realised before i bought it again but when this one arrived i was stunned to see the size of the bottle was 100 ml, that makes it very very expensive, when making the purchase this time around i clicked on the link in my previous order list and on that list it was a 250 ml bottle i never noticed that when clicking on that link that the page it takes you to is now for a 100 ml bottle i just made the purchase assuming i would be getting the same as i had in the past, its a shame they have done this as the product is a good product but at the price they are charging for 100 ml makes it very expensive

Dopo anni a cercare un sapone per barba decente, sono riuscito a trovare quello perfetto per me e la mia pelle. La fragranza non è eccessiva, ma l'effetto che dona è fantastico e ha decisamente cambiato la mia barba dal primo utilizzo: molto più morbida e meno irritante. In più ne basta una piccola quantità per detergere in modo efficace.

The main thing I love about this Beard Wash is how soft it makes my beard feel and look. I have a medium length beard, so it can feel coarse and get a bit wild. I use it daily, as I am just one of those guys that don’t feel totally clean without shampooing daily. My beard has not dried out, and I think it looks great. I have used this now for a couple of weeks and I will continue purchasing it. Nothing I have purchased in the last 3 years can even come close to Seven Potions. I don’t add additional products after shampooing, the beard is soft enough to manage without it. The only thing that I was not immediately in love with, is the scent. I expected a more woodsy quality. It does smell refreshing, and I have since grown accustomed to it. Overall, all men with a medium to long beard should give this shampoo a try.
