Nice gift
I gifted this to my husband, cuz he goes to the gym, he was very happy. It is easy to make, but proportions written on the label are not right, I used more pancakes mix and less water.

Not thick enough
It would be very nice pancakes, but I think the measures written on the back are wrong. They are not thick enough

Nice punch of protein!
Not a low carb pancake mix, but really yummy. Rises much better than the usual protein pancake and has a great flavour. Worth trying out!

definitely the best i've tried so far
definitely the best i've tried so far. Pancakes finally come out fluffy, as all the others i've tried were so heavy and bread-like. Unfortunately ordering it from Milan costs way more than if you live in the UK, but it's worth it

Surprisingly tasty pancakes!
Whenever I see a healthy version of something delicious, I brace myself for disappointment. But these pancakes are actually really, really good!Preparation - The container says 2 scoops for 3 pancakes. Yeah, silver dollar pancakes! For a normal sized, thick, fluffy pancake, you're really looking at more like 1 full, rounded scoop per pancake. This just means you'll get fewer meals out of the container, but the upside is more protein. It also says that some lumpiness is normal, but I didn't whisk it very long, and I had no lumps. It blended really well. It is pretty thick, so pouring it into a pan with a spoon to help it out is a must, unless you have all day.Flavor - It says it's so good you don't need butter or syrup. Well, almost. They do tasty pretty good, and although I agree butter isn't needed, syrup is a good call, even if just a little bit. As with most things that have protein powders and supplements added, the taste is a little weird for a lack of a better word. It's sort of buttermilk, sort of cinnamon, sort of nutmeg. Doesn't taste bad, but has an artificial quality to it. I put about a tablespoon of maple syrup on mine, and they taste very, very good. They also mention adding fruit, but give its flavor profile, I probably won't except maybe for bananas. Personal preference.Texture - It says fluffy, and they're not kidding. The thick batter, which is how I like regular pancake batter, leads to a thick pancake, and I really like that. I don't like thin, crepe-like pancakes. It cooks just like a normal pancake; the added protein powder doesn't mean you have to use a different heat level or amount of time. Just cook it like you normally would. Nice, slight crunch to the outside, and fluffy yet slightly dense inside. Loved the texture. Kind of like the mix of pancake and french toast.Overall - Given the extra scoops, I get somewhere around 20 grams of protein in a delicious stack of pancakes. I usually lift in the morning or midday, and have these as a meal later, and I really look forward to it. It's a real meal unlike protein bars, and it tastes great. Highly recommend!

Quick, easy, and tasty
I want to get something out of the way right off the bat: these do not taste like actual, homemade, buttermilk pancakes. Nor would I expect them to. But as someone who has tried every protein supplement under the sun, only to gag at the 80% of them that taste medicinal, or otherwise "off," these pancakes are a great breakfast option considering they are surprisingly low calorie and have decent protein density.Probably the best thing about them is that you just need to add water. No eggs, milk, or anything else to mix. That makes it a great option for when I need a quick breakfast that won't break the bank in terms of calories. The consistency of the pancakes is a bit thick coming out of the bowl, and you will want to make sure they cook fully before eating (I sometimes like my "real" pancakes to be a bit runny, but I would not recommend that with these pancakes). But once cooked, they are pretty tasty. They taste a bit buttery, but that's much better than having them taste like an obvious protein mix.I do recommend putting some maple syrup on these for full effect. It takes away from the health benefit by adding sugar and calories, but I treat these as sort of a cheat meal that's not really a cheat meal. Sure you're better off eating egg whites and veggies, but sometimes you're in the mood for pancakes, and if you're watching what you eat, these are the best option you'll find.

Great for those who love breakfast food and need that protein
These are some pretty good protein pancakes. I love that when I opened up the box and realized how big and heavy the container was. You really get a lot of pancake mix for the price. Right off the top I thought this was a great deal. The packaging was nice and secure and it was very appealing. I love a product with good labeling and packaging. The taste of the pancakes are not as great as the real thing, but when you add in a few more ingredients that are actually pretty good. I love that you can customize this how you want and get a high serving of protein at the same time. It makes having a healthier lifestyle that much easier. What I usually do (I am a bigger guy) is I mix the 2 1/2 scoops with an egg, some vanilla extract, a little brown sugar, and some cinnamon. Sometimes I will make them with blueberries or strawberries depending on my taste. I mix that up and turn those bad boys into some waffles using my waffle maker. They are very fluffy and good once you spruce them up a bit. I should have gotten the subscription to these because I know that I will keep coming back. I definitely need these in more flavors.

I was skeptic at first.
I started working out hard core about 2 months ago, and still been at it and it is surprising how fast your list of food options shorten.I have always loved pancakes but I had to cut them from my list of foods to eat, eliminating them as a breakfast option. I mean, who doesn't love stacking on flapjacks with butter and syrup?Anyhow I was looking at a lot of protein products and found an online coupon for Protein Plus products and saw this bad boy and went on to read the list of ingredients etc, I thought it was going to taste like some of the less favorable protein bars that are found at most stores.Anyhow, I figured that I didn't have much to lose, I ordered it and then it came in the mail.I read the back again and opened the package, the powder had a sweet smell to it, and it say that there is no need to use butter to cook it, which is what I usually use to cook my pancakes, skeptical, I decided I would follow the instructions on the box.I cooked these bad boys and I was amazed, they cook pretty fast, like regular pancakes and they taste great, a wonderful alternative for athletes, don't take my word for it, give them a try!

Certainly not Buttermilk
These are okay for their purpose, but come on don't put "buttermilk" on the label when they taste like bland cereal at best. They're perfectly fine to eat, but they're the Special K of the cereal world; part acquired taste, part seriously bland. I add a whole lot of vanilla and cinnamon to get it "spiced" up. On the plus side, they are super easy to make, just two scoops and 1/3 cup of water/milk. I always use skim milk and find that you need a little more than 1/3 a cup. Cleanup is easy. One small cereal bowl and a fork. Start to finish you can easily make/cook these in 5 minutes. Drink a big glass of water with these and you will be full for hours.**UPDATE** I just got Met-RX's Cake Batter drink mix and it is the EXACT same flavor of these pancakes. I don't understand how cake batter and buttermilk pancakes taste the same. Still, they're not inedible. Just strange now that I both have a drink and a pancake the tastes exactly the same :/
