Collection Unisex Adults Watch MQ-24

This was a genuine Casio. It is easy to read, very light and reliable and is extremenly good value for money. It is no suitbale for underwater swimming - but then who, apart from divers, what to tell the time underwater. The only deficiency, in my opinion is the lack of a low battery indicatior. When the battery is "end of life" the watch will simply just stop. Granted the battery may last for 3 years, but if you want reliablity, I would suggest that you will need to change the battery at least every 2 years.

Firstly, this is a cheap watch, it is no Omega, but for functionality it is a real bargain. My wife wanted a durable watch for work, something that was easy to see and read, and the first thing she said to me is "I want a watch with 12 numbers on it and mites shown too" - well try and find one, as these two things seem to be out of fashion now, but like her I also think they are essential in a watch, having to 'guess' minutes is a nightmare, especially of someone asks you the time and you say well it is 12 minutes or maybe 13 minutes past one ! She says the strap is easy to fasten and very comfortable to wear, and of course black markings on a white background couldn't be better. It proved to be quite accurate too, gaining about 1 minute every 2 months or so. Yes, we both have expensive "smart watches" but you just wouldn't want to wear them to work for fear of scratching or loosing them. Now the downside, well there would be one for a watch at this price. This is the second one of these watches she has had, the previous one lasted 19 months, then the battery went flat, and for starters the case was difficult to open up and then getting the battery out actually broke the battery contacts, even though I took great care. So yes, buy this watch it is good value, but when the battery goes, (to get it replaced professionally could cost the price of a new watch anyway, we were quoted £5) just 'bin it' and buy a new one like I did ! It still gets 5 stars though as the last one cost £0.37 a MONTH over the 18 months it worked !

The Good: it's very cheap, it's simple, the face is clear, will fit a large variety of wrists, it's very quiet, it's light weight. The Bad: the face is smaller than I'd like, the strap feels a little cheap (as to be expected), you need to adjust the time more often than usual. Overall this watch is excellent value for money and works quite nicely. The main problem that I have is the size of the face, but this is barrable as the price is so low. I would recommend this time piece if you're not looking for perfection and can live with a few minor imperfections.

The ordering process is very straight forward with one-click ordering and amazon are very quick at despatching what you`ve ordered. Secondly i bought this watch because i wanted something a little different.Most of the watches i own are casio G-shock watches,which although i like are too bulky and they catch on the sleeve.The casio mq-24-7bll is a slim,smart looking and very lightwatch which is comfortable on the wrist.I payed around £6.00 for the watch from amazon but it looks more expensive than that. Also the time is easy to tell on this watch and setting the correct time is also easy to do.This watch is described as a unisex watch,suitable for both male and female and the size of the watch face is suitable for both.It is also keeping very good time so far,all in all i cant complain for a watch that only costs £6.00.The only small minus point is that it doesnt have night illumination but apart from that i`m very pleased with the watch.

Timeless when applied to a watch? Sorry, couldn't resist. I find great beauty in this watches simple lines. It is a watch. It gives an indication of the time of day. It has no frills. Function personified. Casio have created a perfect tool. I can't abide flashy watches, don't like cluttered watches, don't need a stopwatch, don't need an altimeter, tachymeter, moon phase display or any of the other errata grafted on. I need a watch that can stand getting a little damp, has a clear, easy to read face and is slim enough not to obstruct or catch on my bike leathers. This elegant little timepiece fulfils my requirements. I would like to agree with other reviewers comments that the strap is a little on the short side. I have quite slender wrists for a man and mine fits on the fifth 'hole' from the end of the strap. If you are chunky of wrist, it may not be for you. Given the price, I really don't mind too much if it gets bashed and broken at work. Try saying that about a more expensive watch. If it breaks, I'll just replace it. For less than the price of a couple of beers, I cannot find fault with it.

These watch are good value and work well, downside is the rubber strap will eventually break , need to buy a new strap and be able to replace the battery Two stars dropped because have bought these before , and the strap eventually broke and the battery had to be replaced

I am a big watch lover. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to collect a handful of beautiful swiss-made timepieces. I've now started to buy and review some of the most popular, most affordable (under £20) watches on Amazon. I'd like to share with you my personal thoughts on the 'Casio Unisex Quartz Watch with White Dial Analogue Display and Black Resin Strap MQ24/7B'. DELIVERY Good. The watch was delivered within a week. PACKAGING Good. The box and its content arrived in perfect condition. CONTENT The following items were included in the box: the watch and a couple of small leaflets. Please note that the face and the back of the watch both come with a removable protective plastic layer. DESIGN If, just like me, you are used to substantial watches, you will find the watch very very light and thin. The case measures roughly 1.2 inches / 3 centimers, and you will find only one actionable button on the right handside. The watch looks extermely small, so I wouldn't recommend it for people with larger wrists. The strap is made of plastic: it's both very thin and surprisingly comfortable, even after a long day. Once again, Casio demonstrates how experienced the company is to produce high volumes of very well-made, well-priced entry-level watches. FEATURES - time (that's pretty much it) - water resistance (10m) - manufacturer warranty (2 years) CONCLUSION This is a very good buy for anyone with very small wrists looking for a well-buit, durable and simple watch with one purpose only: telling the time. My wife, who doesn't wear a watch, tried it and found it very cute. Personally, I have rather small wrists and it looked far too small on me for my liking. Si buscas algo sencillo, bonito y barato, esta es la opción. La esfera es pequeña, literalmente del tamaño de una moneda de $10 mxn y la correa es delgada, lo cuál lo hace un reloj muy ligero y sutil. Particularmente considero que la correa es muy básica y delgada, pero es ideal para el diseño y tamaño del reloj, además de ser muy comoda. Compra recomendable.

Diese Casio ist bei uns inzwischen praktisch Familienausstattung. Meine Mama und meine Tante, beide um die 80, tragen sie gern, weil sie schlicht ist, leicht am Handgelenk sitzt und sich die Uhrzeit ohne viel Schnickschnack ablesen lässt. Das Prinzip ist inzwischen bewährt: Alle zwei bis drei Jahre gibt das Armband irgendwann auf. Dann wird nicht lange repariert oder diskutiert – ich kaufe einfach die nächste Casio. Inzwischen habe ich davon schon vier Stück gekauft. Das sagt vermutlich alles: Die Uhr macht ihren Job, die beiden mögen sie, und für den Preis ist ein gelegentlicher Austausch völlig in Ordnung. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die einfach eine unkomplizierte Uhr wollen.
