Great, warm vest. Wear it in Oklahoma with the temperate is 20 - 30 degrees with 20+ winds. I am very cozy and comfortable. I don't know about now (Mar 2025) but Amazon was the cheapest place I could find this

This vest does not disappoint regarding the durability of the fabric. It has the feel, as expected from Carhartt, of toughness that will take a significant amount of work related scratches. I would imagine non-work related scratches if one is so inclined. The fit is spot on and it has a surprising high level of warmth.

Very pleased. Tested it out today on CA central coast in 45mph wind driven rain, perfect. This vest will definitely see a lot of use moving forward.Ordered Large in Tarmac. I am 5' 8", 205lbs, 38 waist and 48 chest. I was torn between ordering L or XL, glad I bought large as it allows just enough room for a light to medium sweatshirt underneath with no extra bulk. The standup collar is colormatched sherpa so it does not contrast. Great there is no elastic in the arm holes, easy to push arm through while wearing chunky dive watch or G-shock. The side hand pockets are lined and very warm.The Tarmac color is great if you want a neutral that will go with most anything, it's a sorta dusty brown-dark olive mix.Only negative is really super minor, no pull tab on the main zipper. The chest pocket and side/hand pockets have tabs so I added my own to the main zipper. Need pull tabs when wearing gloves.

I bought this Carhartt vest for my son-n-law and he hasn’t taken it off since!! As always with a Carhartt it is made extremely well. I would say it runs a bit larger than normal, as it is described as loose fitting. He can comfortably wear a sweatshirt under it.
