Food Saver T020-00024-I 0.7 L Lunch-and-Leftover Containers, Set of 3

I recived my Food Saver containers quicker than expected and I am delighted with the results when using them. I store all my little cartons of coleslaw, Beans in mint dressing, cous cous in them seal them using my foodsaver machine and hey presto they keep for little bit longer tasting as fresh as when they went in.I will definitely be buying more of these as they stack in the fridge just nice. I am very pleased and also at a very good price.

I prefer these original containers over the new generation. They hold the vacuum much better, and take up less space in the cupboard as they stack more neatly. However, in spite of being categorised as "microwave safe", I found that they do not really work, as the plastic changes colour and throws bubbles, which is probably not healthy. So, I use these ones for keeping fresh of raw ingredients, but the new ones for reheating leftovers.

These are a very reasonable price and I'm so pleased that Amazon uk now do them rather than having to order from the USA and then have to pay customs charges. My only complaint is the sizing in metric. I thought they would be larger, although my own fault as I should have checked. Only buyers under 40 will possibly understand metric measurements so why sellers cannot accommodate older buyers and show Imperial measurements is a mystery - it is no longer illegal.They are the same good quality.

Great size but the air gets in after a while in fridge, the canisters are better

We use these as airtight containers and vacuum containers - both works great. It has reduced our discarded food by 90%, because there are no more mouldy bits if cheese etc to throw away. Used them in the freezer and microwave, both successful. Great bit of kit. Would like to see some larger ones.

These have proven to be useless: the vacuum doesn't even last overnight & I have tried them out several times. Annoyed that the 'return window' ended before I had a decent opportunity to assess these.

I have got used to the cack-handed method of sealing but every time I take a box to work the seal breaks and the air gets in. The stupid "flap" design is too easy to disturb in transit. At this price the inlet should be better and the size bigger. May I suggest 3 sizes?

I purchased these containers as I wanted to save the food in smaller portions than would be possible with the jar they provided with my food saver unit. These containers work well as long as they are full to the brim. If they are not however then an automatic run from the food saver machine will not fully suck the air out and the lids will not be tight which is one of the ways in which I know as a new user that the food saver has done its job..I gave 3 stars rather than 4 or 5 as I personally would have preferred the food saver containers to be a little more flexible with how much food you can pack in them. Also, given the method of air extraction is slightly different with these containers, thereby requiring an adaptor that fits on the top of the container loosely at best, some kind of instruction on the packet would have been welcome.Don't let me put you off though. If you are going to fill them to the brim Im sure they will work well for you.

No me gusta tirar las bolsas por lo que prefiero usar estos, aunque me gustaría que hubieran de vidrio, sería ideal, pero bueno, están bastante bien y es muy fácil usarlos

Ich verwende die drei Dosen für geruchsintensiven Käse, die tägliche Dosis Apfelstücken auf Arbeit sowie allgemein um Wurstaufschnitt vom Fleischer länger im Kühlschrank lagern zu können.Die Handhabung ist anfangs etwas umständlich, so muß der Deckel richtig nachgedrückt / verschlossen, der Schlauch richtig ins Gerät gesteckt und das Endstück auf einen trockenen Deckel gedrückt werden, nur dann wird wirklich Luft entzogen. Der obere Verschlußgummi ist nicht so wertig, wie der Plaste-Mechanismus der Foodsaver-Becher, macht aber seinen Job. Es stellt sich die Frage nach der Haltbarkeit.Vorsorglich:Die Behälter sind - lt. Gebrauchsanleitung - *nicht* für das Tiefkühlfach geeignet! Die Aussage macht aufgrund des Gummi-Verschlusses (zieht sich bei Kälte zusammen) auch Sinn.Fazit:Keine wirkliche Begeisterung, aber für den zugedachten Gebrauch geeignet. Ich bin daher zufrieden.

J'ai acheté ce lot de boites avec la machine de même marque, une V3840. J'avais d'abord lu les commentaires. J'ai raté ma première mise sous vide, mais les suivantes se sont passées sans problème. Il suffit juste de vérifier que le joint en silicone est bien placé dans sa rainure et de bien enclencher le couvercle. Le reste est un jeu d'enfant.J'avais peur pour la contenance au début, mais cela suffit pour mettre les restes de repas, quitte à utiliser deux boites pour cela. Je verrais plus tard avec des aliments plus fragile, mais je suis conquis.

Having the smaller FoodSaver containers I searched for a larger container when I found these. The first one I used it did not seal and the vacuum leaked off. Haven't tried the other two yet to see if they leak off also.
