Scotts Lawn Builder 400 sq m Autumn Lawn Food Bag

When I applied this lawn food I was hoping to see some good results next year but only three weeks in our lawn is noticeably greener and looking healthier, even my wife asked what I had done to the lawn, so I am a little bit surprised and chuffed to bits with this product.This is the first year I have used autumn lawn feed (I should maybe point out it's the first year I've found out it existed). We had a cold spell of weather at the start of September so I thought I best prep our lawn for next year and our neighbour recommend Scott's Autumn Lawn food.This large sack of food arrived, and it smelt and felt just like my multi-purpose weed and feed that I already had a large sack of in our garage, so I was a little sceptical as to how good this stuff would be.It's very easy to apply using the  Scotts EasyGreen Rotary Spreader  and there is no need to water this food in to the lawn.The label on this boasts a greener lawn in 7 days which I'm not sure about, but three weeks on it is certainly looking as good as it did early summer so I'm very pleased considering it is now late September.I still have half a bag left and the maximum you can apply is once every two months, so I might try and give the garden another boost in November depending on how it's looking, if so I will update this review again. In short I am really impressed and will certainly be trying more from the Scott's range (up until now we had only bought the spreader and used other products).

I have used Scotts Lawn Builder plus weed killer applied in the spring for a few years with good results from a single application. This works due to a slow breakdown of the urea content to ammonium fertiliser, feeding the grass over a longer period. This autumn the grass was looking a bit sparser (think higher summer rainfall had leached out fertilizer quicker), so I tried the Autumn Lawn Food for the first time. I applied it in the middle of September and after a week the lawns had greened and were growing strongly. The description on packed suggests there shouldn't be a sudden growth flush. I think I probably spread it a bit too early in the season and this autumn has also been exceptionally mild. However lawns look in great shape now and I will see how they go on over the winter.

The seller will ship another product with a “polite” note saying they guarantee the quality matches. I found this really disappointing, they should’ve told me this before I bought or before they dispatched. The product sent as a replacement is a 2kg Evergreen Premium Autumn & Spring lawn food.I guess the seller/Amazon should relaxe the product description/photo match with the product dispatched.*** 3 stars only because of this inconvenience, I cannot really rate the product until it has its effects o. The lawn, which usually takes a 2-4 weeks...

Applied end of September following scarifying. Lawn has come back very well and has produced a good green swarth.I always apply by hand and usually manage to burn the grass by spillage but with this product I have managed it without any bare patches.Only four stars because I want to see how the lawn reacts in the spring but so far it looks like an upgrade to 5 stars is likely.

Expensive but seems to do the job. Will buy it again for a full cycle but will feel more confident in my review in a year or so.

I have been using this product for several years now and my lawn has never looked so good. The lawn is lush and green, it looks wonderful and I get lots of compliments, people are always asking me how I get it looking so good. I wouldn't use anything else now.

Great product. Can never go wrong with Scott’s. grass is so thick and green just after a week. Perfect looking for the winter.

It is too early to rate a fertilizer. It's weeks before any effect will be seen. All the admin services were excellent.
