They have a good texture, nice and chunky and no dust. The pack that came today was a 4 pack and it all came in its own sturdy outerbox which in fact would make a gift for someone who uses oats for eating and baking. See photo's. Priced at 3.35 each also a great price. Expiry 15 months time - brilliant. I use them for flapjacks and also in porridge - I've recently discovered quinoa flakes and find that a 50/50 mix makes a change. The texture when cooked was disgusting, like gritty glue. So I bought these instead, and they are even better than the old Nairns!! Really chunky (they do take longer to cook, but I don't mind), a good nutty flavour, and very filling. They are definitely helping, and I don't mind that they take longer to cook...the problem I have with them is the amount of hull that's left in. Every bowl I end up fishing around in my mouth to remove hull from about 6-10 bites. For me it's like having a toe nail or bug wings in my mouth so it's not very palatable.
