Pros- Easy to hang- Packaged flat for easy delivery- Does not block out much light- Has been hung up outside (under cover) for 3 years and it is still going strong with just some rust (I live in a humid area)- Great nerd curb appealCons- When the light shines through it, it is a bit harder to see the design (easy to see during the day when the light is off though)- Has faded a bit over time (years!) So the design isn't as obvious as it once wasOverall opinion: Good buy! Worthy of Lord Vader

I like Star Wars, the kids like Star Wars so whats not to like about this? Its basically your typical folding lamp shade you had in the 70s and 80s and cost a few quid. This likewise costs only a few quid but looks like the death star and is pretty big actually so really looks good in a large bedroom. Easy to put up and great for what I wanted it for.

Does the job and is a nifty addition to any Star Wars fan's room.A little on the flimsy side though and the pattern doesn't show brilliantly when the light is on.

For some reason this works - really well and sheds lots of good quality light. Unmistakably evil :)You've got to be VERY careful installing this thing. It's only paper and very easy to rip. The final push to get the frame in did make me wince, but I had positioned everything well, so it didn't break and it now handing in in pride of place, casting its evil light about the disaster area that is my Son's bedroom.

They look good but they are made of paper so you probably should use low energy bulbs to reduce any risk of fire.As they are made of paper it's easy to damage them during assembly. The way you connect them to the fitting is through a metal hook which you curl the wire through in an S style bend. I don't think this is very secure and the metal rubs against the wire which could expose the cables.

I bought two for my sitting room and they work great! I have Star Wars cushions and wanted something to match that wasn't overly obvious and these are perfect. They let out plenty of light and are long enough to cover our light bulbs (6 inch long energy saving ones, that have bulb-specific pendants put in by the landlord).Yes, they are paper, so j wouldn't recommend them for areas where they are likely to come into contact with anything, but they work great on ceiling lights.Very easy to assemble and hang, and they aren't overly obvious - you have to point them out for people to notice they are Death Stars!Love them :)

Quite fond of it already. It looks great both with the light on or off. The material is a little thick so you won't have to worry about ripping it. The metal is a bit bigger than necessary which causes it to bent a little but if you position it properly you won't even notice. Highly recommend.

Really great value and makes a great feature for a kids (or not!) room. It's a little hard to get it lined up straight as the cord from the ceiling rose has to wind in between the metal attachment in an 's' shape - so my light ends up leaning to the side slightly as it comes out of the 's' bend. Would be perfect if you could simply attach it to the screw fixing like other shades, but it's not a big deal and still worth the money.

Lo esperaba un poco más grande, eso me a decepcionada un poco pero por el precio no se puede pedir más.Es muy bonita ,viene con el hierro de dentro para que se sujete bien abierto y los colores son más bonitos que en la imagen.Llegó en perfectas condiciones.Muy recomendable
