can this be used to glue down vinyl flooring?

Yes. A light spray on both surfaces allow to almost dry, so it’s sticky to the touch but without sticking to your finger, then firmly press both surfaces together

Can this be used to glue carpet into cigarette burns to repair carpet?

The product is fantastic and will do the job well but you need to be aware that it 'Sprays' when used. Either tape around the area and leave only the spot to be glued or spray some onto card and then paste the area required.

How much coveraged would you say one cam of 500ml would do?

Only a guess based on my using a whole can over time, but I would say 10 square meters. Keep in mind you are unlikely to have to cover the entire surfaces being joined -- just the edges and a few "striped" did the job for me.

Is it good for glueing vinyl to a door on a boat?

Did you use this for the your boat, I’m looking to put new Vinyl up over the v bed on mine ,good advise is hard to come by on boats
