Good but not HD
Many projectors use HD in their sales talk. This is not an HD projector. It will take an input from an HD device, say a blue ray and downscale the image to a reduced resolution. This lower resolution is what it projects. If you are unsure, look at the figure given for native resolution. This is the actual image size. Here it is not 1920 x 1080 (HD). Its actually 800 x 480.The HD tag is misleading. I wish this practice would stop.A true HD projector will cost a lot more than this one does.Having said that, this projector is rather good for the money. The lumens ( brightness of the bulb) is lower than many projectors, so it won't look great in a lit room, but turn out the lights, close the curtains and what you get is a pretty good image. It doesn't need a long distance to get around 100 inches or more of image, which looks great. Due to the less than HD resolution, the picture will pixelate if viewed up close, but no one sits up close, so at a distance it look quite sharp. A simple focus ring sits on the unit. It's easy to set up, the manual is small and to the point, there's decent connectivity ports, i use HDMI from a laptop, but you can connect in various ways, memory stick, TV, Blu-ray player etc. There's control over the picture, you can de noise, sharpen, adjust colour temperature and brightness, contrast. There is horizontal keystone, but not vertical. This is bad. It's easy to set the projector straight on horizontally, but very difficult to get it vertically alligned. The projector needs to be exactly at the correct height to obtain an undistorted image. This entails using a stand at a great height. Or lowering your screen height. all very awkward. I have my projector on a table, angled slightly up to hit the screen. This causes a vertical distortion, which doesn't correct itself, and is unavoidable. If budget only allows one plane of keystone. They should have made it vertical. The sound is loud but very tinny. The cooling fan is a bit noisy, but not bad. I find it easy to ignore the fan noise. This projector is in my opinion, despite its problems, one of the best in this price range. It certainly gives you the home cinema experience, on a small budget. If you are keen to have an image as good as it gets, ie ' full HD' , then expect to pay a lot more money. But if you want a great budget priced projector, than gives you a wall sized image of decent quality, this is it.On a final note, GooBang Doo have an incredible customer service. They are super quick to respond, and very helpful. I can see they put a lot of effort in to this.Other companies can learn from them.

Good Performer, Decent Price
Video games just became a lot more fun. I couldn't resist the prospect of playing Fifa, Doom and Mario Kart on a massive projected image, so I invested in this budget priced projector and I'm really happy with the results. The projector is easy to setup. I was able to connect it to my Xbox One and Nintendo Switch using a standard HDMI cable without referring to any instructions. Literally, within just a few minutes I was projecting the output onto my white wall. The picture quality is perfectly adequate for a projector at this price point. In fairness to the seller, they clearly state that the projector is only suitable for dark rooms. The sound quality is basic, but the projector has an AV output and accompanying cable to connect to a different speaker system.I've also used the projector with a satellite TV reciever to watch TV and movies. Again, perfectly adequate picture quality and the fan noise isn't too loud to distract from the experience.I'm pleased with my purchase. For an entry level priced projector this is a good performer. It's ideal for anyone wanting a projector, but without investing too much money. I would particularly recommend it for gaming. Great fun.

If your after a more expensive projector don't be fooled by the price of this one. It's surprisingly worth the money.
After purchasing this projector I found the unboxing of it simple and easily accessible to plug in and start to use. Which is what I did. The buttons on top of the unit are reflective silver style and you can't notice what button and functions they produce once you press them. Which is a slight downfall after your all plugged and ready to project. The controller for the unit is simple style with basic functions including sound levels, mute sound, menu controls. The main menu built into the projector displays all functions including source to direct you to what output you've plugged into and is also shown on the homescreen including projector settings. The menu selection is a bit confusing because it is not highlighted and when it is the square selections have rounded corners on them instead. So you have to look closely. The lens projection is amazing and the resolution of the projector is bright and seeable from 2 metres away. I have not tested various distances to see the image fade. I don't plan to anytime soon. If you are too fussy in having perfect clarity picture quality this might not be the projector for you. With this projector you can hardly see pixels being projected, but if you look closely you can see them. This however doesn't spoil the great quality of the projected image. There is no blank option on this unit. I firstly bought myself the cheapest projector on the market to see how it projected. If you think the price will fool you into thinking this projector isn't much good, you would be wrong. It is surprisingly worth the money. Thanks for reading. I hope my review encourages you to buy the product.

First try out of the box I was amazed at the brightness and the quality
After watching tons of reviews on loads of cheap projectors I settled on this one (the final 2 being the Dbpower T21 vs Abox T22). First try out of the box I was amazed at the brightness and the quality. You don't have to turn off the lights, you can have a lamp on and still get a great bright picture. With the lights off it's impressive. I hooked it up to my Amazon Fire Stick and can watch movies, TV etc. Sound from the speaker is good. For the price you get a very usable projector.
